Love this school, you will never be just another name in the grade book and you will never doubt that your Professors are passionate about the callings that God has on your life!
Overall 4.2
Amazing place to be if you love God, are curious about God, or just want to know more about this "God" we worship. Very community oriented and a family away from home :)

I turned down a big scholarship and decided to come here a week before move-in. I was so scared it wouldn't be worth it. It's got its quarks and challenges sure, but I don't doubt for a second God put me here on purpose. When you look for the good, it's not at all hard to find. It's so worth it, I love it.

Cornerstone has a great reputation across Grand Rapids and has many great connections with Christian organizations and other places across the city. They really push the idea of being involved and service at Cornerstone. Also, it is required that everyone does an internship. The lounge couples are gross so don't be that person. Overall a 8/10 uni.

I can’t say enough bad things about this school with 350 characters. If you’re thinking of going here, don’t.
Overall 1.6
I was told during orientation week that I would be eligible for chapel exemption due to my work situation and needing to work during chapel hour. I was told AFTER I PAID MY TUITION that "chapel exemption isn't a thing anymore" and fined $500. Everyone who works in the spiritual formation office is incompetent and doesn't respond to a single email.
Overall 1.6
Do not come to this school it is not worth it. It was a waste of my time and money. The "faith based community" they preach made my faith worse due to the horrendous execution.

For the most part the academic division of Cornerstone does a pretty good job with helping students achieve academically. However, the athletics division run the show. Athletes are given special treatment and considered more important than most of the other students. However, being an athlete isn't any better because of all the added pressures.

There are SO MANY RULES at Cornerstone. Freshman have a curfew, and you're fined for not going to church for a certain amount of times. Even after you turn 21, you're not allowed to drink if you go here. I'm not a student looking to start trouble, but I just want to have a normal college experience. Will not be returning next year...

Cornerstone is not as great as they put it off to be.
