I can clearly see that this school set me up for my career. You have to take responsibility for your education and DSU gives you the tools to do that. Food could be better, but thats not what I went to college for. By far the best cyber program in the region
Overall 4.3
It's a great school for cyber operations, computer science, AI, Analytics, Network Security and the like. Professors are very caring, and very focused on helping the students succeed. It's a very safe and friendly community. Lots of opportunities to participate in clubs and competitions.
Overall 4.3
Awesome Campus with Amazing Professors. They have one of the best computer degrees in the country, the only downside is it is in a small town of 10k.
Overall 4.2
This school's reputation brought me. The kind and intelligent instructors kept me!
Overall 4.2
DSU is a solid choice for Computer Science. Great things are in the works for the future here, I foresee this school getting a lot more attention and appreciation soon. It's a diamond in the rough. If CS is your goal, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend DSU!
Overall 4.2
DSU is a great school for technically-focused degrees. My own Computer Science undergrad degree has served me well throughout my career, so much so that over a decade after graduating I decided to return to do a master's degree online from DSU. If you're looking for affordable, high-quality higher education, DSU is a great place to find it.
Overall 4.2
Food is alright, they try. Campus is old in places, and state-of-the-art in others. Clubs are there if you're interested, but it's not like you're out of the group if you skip. Extremely safe: no problems going for a midnight walk through town. Networking opportunities the likes of which I've never seen, and will probably never see again.
Overall 4.1
I love that Madison is a small town but that's not for everyone. I transferred from South Dakota State University and it was the best decision for my education. I feel so much closer with my classmates and professors at DSU and it shows in my grades.
Overall 4
Great school, only downsides are being in Madison where there isn't much to do and the internet occasionally going out.
Overall 4
I'm here for Cyber Ops bc quality for cheap prices. It's a great deal for the cyber program (one of the best in the country). Kinda sucks to be away from society in SD but you can still make a lot of friends if you're involved around campus, and the South Dakotans are nicer on average than other states. Do honors program for a/c your freshman year

Worst. Decision. Ever.
Overall 1.7
This School is not with the time and money. If you are coming here for the ARTS, don't even bother. The art department faculty is TOO small. The art courses are falling to SH!T. This universities focus is cyber ops and sports. You should get an arts degree at a Comm College or go to an art school. There are no opportunities here at all.
Overall 1.8
To start, this school seemed alright but there are very few opportunities to get to know others. Clubs are relatively nonexistent and there seems to be no activities (concerts, comedies, etc.) for students to actually partake in. Internet has been a bit of an issue as well. Professors play favorites and don't always treat students properly.
