Great campus
Overall 4.8
I love DBU!
Overall 4.7
As a transfer from a much bigger school, I absolutely love DBU. It is such a Christ-centered community and everyone here is very friendly. The professors are sweet and understanding, and they want nothing more than to see you succeed. I am also involved in Greek Life and love that as well. Plus, Chapel is amazing!
Overall 4.7
Excellent campus. Everybody's nice, students are great, faculty is awesome, everything is beautiful. Everything is awesome except for wifi and the caf.
Overall 4.6
I graduated from DBU in 2014 and I am currently working on my masters at DBU as well. The campus was great as an undergraduate student and it only gets better every year. I love my graduate program even more than my undergraduate program. The professors take a real life interest in you and your future. Being part of DBU opens future opportunities.
Overall 4.6
The school is as good as what you make of it. Work hard in class and be active in different circles and organizations on campus and youll enjoy it greatly. Living in Dallas is also a great experience. DBU impacted my life for the better, and with an open mind and a good attitude it will impact yours as well.
Overall 4.6
Great school, beautiful campus, quality education and a healthy environment.
Overall 4.6
DBU is my favorite place in the world.
Overall 4.6
DBU is a beautiful campus with professors who care about your well-being. My professors always do their best to get to know students (class size is about 15 usually). They have improved the Wi-Fi so much this past year also. The cafeteria food SUCKS but Chick Fil A, Papa John's and Starbucks redeemed the score from a 1 to a 3.
Overall 4.5
It's life changing to your future financially and most importantly, spiritually.
Bad reviews
Overall 1.4
College in general is a scam. DBU in particular will accept your money happily and then treat you like a criminal if you attempt to negotiate any sort of accommodated living due to a handicap. I wish the administration did not suck so much here.
Overall 1.5
The police and security are nice sometimes but at others they can be jerks. Some of them are very condescending towards the students. I kind of get the impression that they think they rule the world at times. The wifi here sucks. the food sucks. DBU scams you with so many extra charges and some departments will take literally a month to email back.
Overall 1.5
Very narrow minded professors and students
Overall 1.7
The professors are great, but the general pop. of the students and the entirety of the administration are the most judgemental, shallow, superficial, and fake people I've come across. I transferred because they do not practice what they preach. Administration will do anything to look better and push its agenda. programs like Stonehouse are a scam.
Overall 1.8
DBU is an okay place other than the administration (security, housing, etc. ), internet and food. the internet is okay in some areas but super inconsistent throughout the campus. the food is really bad in the cafe. The people and profs. tend to be pretty nice though. But the admin is a tough pill to swallow if you want to go here.
Overall 1.9
Do not recommend under any circumstances. There is a reason that everyone transfers out of this school, and if you think you could be an exception to this, you're wrong. You will not find a job after graduation. If you're a girl, you are expected to consider marriage as a career path. Extremely expensive with horrible financial aid.
Overall 2
Only enjoyable if you go home on the weekend, otherwise really isolating and hard to make friends
Overall 2
If you aren't looking to be bored on the weekends with a dead campus -- don't come here. There's nothing ever going on and there's too many rules. If you want to be treated like a child in college - come on over.
