Good reviews
Overall 4.2
Great place to receive the one on one with faculty to be successful.
Bad reviews
Overall 1.4
Nice teachers, but has a bad reputation for location and being a community college. The location is very unsafe. I had some pretty cool teachers. Advisers do NOT help at all. You need to find your own classes and KNOW what you need because they'll screw you over with classes and programs that won't transfer and that aren't worth any credits.
Overall 1.4
To be honest, I wound up having to get a second Associate's Degree from another nearby community college because the advising and the teaching at DACC were so bad that it almost screwed my future. If you have other options and AREN'T going into nursing--find somewhere else. The campus is isolated, people unfriendly, and most courses are sub par.
Overall 1.4
can't wait to transfer. danville is a town in the middle of nowhere, and pretty much everyone at the school knows each other already either through family, high school, or just living nearby. there's nothing to do, and socially it's about as fun as getting a lobotomy.

Overall 2
Not a bad school. Most of the professors are good teachers and are pretty easy. Wouldn't say I loved it here, but it was better than I thought it would be.
