Daytona State College gives me so many chances to succeed, especially in Quanta. It's also such a beautiful campus and the advisors and professors are so helpful when I ask for help.

Spent a full two years here and wish I didn't have to transfer. I've had great professors and classmates as well as bosses from on-campus jobs. Administration has also been kind and helpful the whole time. Great school, it deserves the best.

Not a safe atmosphere

DAYTONA STATE COLLEGE PHOTOGRAPHY DEPARTMENT heads up. The DSC photography department dames itself to be one of the best programs in the country. This is completely false. The ciriculum is completely dated, there is no placement tests so novice students are placed with highly advanced students leading to frustration beyond belief.

just go somewhere else and save yourself the money and time this education sucks, Im on the GI bill and highly recommend going to a different school.

My experience here wasn't worth the money...

Do not take the BSN program here, they hook you in at first then make you jump through hoops to finish the program. Ridiculous! Absolute ludracris!
Overall 1.7
Horrible school with terrible professors. Do NOT go here if you want to do well at a university because they don't prepare you for the tough work.
Overall 1.7
Took the online Supervision and Management program and wish I'd spent a little more time researching other schools; would probably have ended up at an FAU or FIU with better job prospects. Can't beat the price for a four year, but you'd better plan on a Masters after DSC.

At this school they dont send notice that you have an issue with your financial aid until after its too late to drop classes. Not only that but I received an email on the 22nd that my due date for my issue was on the 11th. I showed the office the time stamp on the email and she said its not their problem. Thanks for the help lady.
Overall 1.9
Math and science departments are decent. The English/Humanities department is a speeding train wreck. Had to threaten a lawsuit in order to get a refund for a class. It's pretty obvious they care more about their bank accounts than their students.
