Good reviews
Overall 4.5
The ranking has dropped but those are bogus anyways. All the same professors are here when this was a highly ranked school. The level of education has not dropped. The alumni base is very strong as well. Chicago firms see DePaul on the same level as Kent and Loyola. It is a good school and a great city.
Bad reviews
Overall 1.6
If you can't get into a Tier-1 law school such as Northwestern or U. of Chicago, you had better be ready to crack the top 10%, or at least the top quarter, of your class. Law positions are few in relation to the number of students that law schools graduate. The law school is a cash cow for any university.
Overall 1.9
The commenter above who called DePaul a Tier 1 school is either misinformed or a flak. DePaul was a third-tier school trying to make its way into the second tier. It barely got there when the provost had the dean fired, so now it's on its way back down the rankings. Stay away until DePaul gets a new provost and the law school gets a new dean.
