Great school, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Truly a hidden gem

I majored in Computer Science and found all my instructors to be of high value. They taught modern computing concepts and were friendly. DePaul's CS department has allowed me to get amazing Software Engineer offers (the Handshake portal and career center are amazing) more than 6 months before I even graduated. The students are friendly too!

Amazing school!
Overall 4.9
The Theatre School at DePaul University is phenomenal. The facilities are top notch. Amazing professors. I've learned so much from them and had a great experience there.
Overall 4.8
DePaul has grown a lot from what it used to be. Now that there is a lot more public safety presence, the University has become a lot more social at night. DePaul also has one of the prettiest campuses in my opinion. The Loop campus is stunning and it is so unique to get that college and city experience all in one.
Overall 4.8
The business school at DePaul is amazing! There are so many great opportunities. The professors are GREAT and teach you a lot of real world skills and help you find a good job.
Overall 4.7
Enjoy that the school is right in the city of chicago. The computer and digital media school has great professors and good (sometimes tough) classes. They really make the most out of being in the hearts of the city.

DePaul University Master's Courses are really worth it.

Literally just dont go. Dont do that to yourself. Its a school full of immature high schoolers. The professors are awful and the advisors have no idea what they are doing. DePaul is a joke.
Overall 1.6
Every other day a battery alert or robbery on campus occur. I’m a marketing major and most of the time you have one class available for each class per quarter, if it’s full you can wait or take another class but if that’s what you need for curriculum to take the other class, you then fall behind. The professors are mostly average or lazy.
Overall 1.6
The teachers are usually ok. Its the administration that sucks. If for any reason something comes up during the year, god forbid you try and withdraw from classes. They make it extremely difficult just to withdraw, very invasive of privacy, and this doesn't include a refund. They do NOT care about your mental health at all. I do not recommend.

Visit campus before you commit and then come back to me and thank me for the money and headaches I saved you.
Overall 1.9
depaul added two extra classes to my major in the middle of the school year out of nowhere. i just randomly got an email that my degree progress report was changed. i was on track to graduate this june and now i have to shell out even more money to take more classes after my graduation was already approved. i should’ve gone to loyola
Overall 1.9
Professors are extremely disorganized and unprofessional. Grades are never put in on time and grading criteria is unclear. Professors are also extremely egotistical which is ironic because most of them haven’t had careers in the subjects they teach. Most professors give students a constant anxiety attack about where they stand in the class/grades
Overall 1.9
Very poor experience as an international transfer student. Supports are almost non-existent and advising, particularly in CDM, is TERRIBLE. This schools has no sense of customer service for students. Everyone is disgruntled and unhelpful. Maybe the educational experience is better in a different major, but wish I had not chosen this school.
Overall 2
I completed my MBA at DePaul's Kellstadt School and my experience fell short of expectations. The promised support was lacking, leaving me to navigate financial and academic challenges alone. This school has weak industry connections and confusing coursework, I'd advise students especially international students to carefully consider their options
Overall 2
The administration does not give a care about their student body they are just in it for the money. It may be in Chicago but there is no social life. Do not even bother going to any of their food options as they are all terrible. I once had rice noodles from the student center that felt like it was plastic. This school sucks do not go here
Overall 2
Really has gone downhill in the last three years. Every time you sign up for a class the times are switched or the professor switches last minute. It's ridiculous, you might as well not even bother signing up for classes anymore. Nobody wants to work here, everyone is leaving rapidly.
