DCAD is pit where good artists go to die beneath the shoes of the teachers who overwork them to the bone the clubs are horrible, never meet up, social life is next to dead here you would have better luck finding a friend with local hobos DO. NOT. GO.

Its a really great way to get your basic credits out of the way until you move onto more expensive schools, but theres a lot of shifty stuff going around here. They take virtually anyone and your portfolio doesnt matter. If your art sucks, you will never get further than DCAD no matter what they promise you. Community college might be better.

good school if you dont like being that social or only like having four friends. Some nice people but others are just rich snobs. Mostly good teachers but there are a few bad ones. DCAD is whatever but for some people its the only way to afford places like PRATT or Corcoran.
