Haters gonna hate. The school is definitely one of those. You get what you put into it. If you go out and join clubs, put yourself out there. Good things and great opportunities will come to you.

The Criminal Justice professors are well-prepared and always motivational! Thank you for pushing me through, when I was at my worst. Thank you for all the fantastic work and lessons taught in class. I am going to Loyola New Orleans University to pursue that Criminology and Justice bachelor's degree now! DCC is an underrated school for sure!!

The professors at this school are wonderful, caring, thorough, and they gave amazing lectures. Campus buildings are beautiful and clean. I wish there would be a campus in Northshore.

I am so thankful for everything Delgado has to offer, and at such an affordable tuition. There is tremendous value and resources here if you really delve into educating and bettering yourself. And the instructors are some of the most caring, encouraging people I have ever met. (This site was instrumental in finding said professors!) Best wishes!

the school offers a lot of programs so there should be no excuse not to find something your interested in. I like the fact that if you are not able to enroll in a face-to-face course, they offer lots of online programs and courses. Very good Value and quality for the money spent

Awesome community college. The selection of classes and professors are many. Buildings are in close proximity of one another. I love the location of the City Park campus. Lots of free parking, as well as student paid parking. If paying out of pocket, there are monthly payments available to accommodate your pockets. Love the journey with the school.

If you come to class to actually learn and not just to get a check, The teachers and faculty at the campus are awesome. Be sure to get your classes early. Also, make sure you park in the right spot. You can survive for the next 2 years. I'm going to to miss the campus when I graduate.

The advisors will lie to you and claim they have you on a good program. They will have you taking classes you don’t need and not taking classes you do need. They will say you can get a transfer degree, but will not allow you to transfer once you graduate. Graduate in summer? Won’t be able to transfer until next year.

Too much negative things to say….Overall horrible!!!!!

If you are someone with disability and come across Delgado, you better think twice of going there. They will not guarantee your safety. Consider this as a warning to everyone about how corrupted Delgado community college is.
Overall 1.2
Run away from this college. Pay money to go somewhere else, this place is not worth it. Where is my tuition money going? Certainly not into the college. None of the faculty members know what's going on at any given time. The advisors know literally nothing and the librarians are rude and have no idea what they are doing. Horrible.

It is where you go to have professors read Wiley Plus slides, assign Wiley Plus homework and give you a Wiley Plus grade. There is no reason for the school to exist. You literally could just take the entire course work online through Wiley Plus and not have to fork over tuition.
Overall 1.4
They have classes that are only available at the Sidney Collier location. If you don't know where that's located its smack dab in the middle of the East and the 9th ward. 2 of the most dangerous neighborhoods in the whole city. The doors are actually locked and you have to have your ID to be able to get in. That campus should be optional.
Overall 1.4
No one seems to not know what the right and left hand are doing. I have to bug the chancellors to let them know my teachers are not showing up to their office hours and there is no repercussion for this behavior. Teachers are not serious about their work. I would not recommend this school to anyone serious about education. No one takes it seriously

If you don’t have any other choice pick somewhere else to go
Overall 1.5
If you are in the military, don't go here. If you get orders for any reason and have to miss anything (finals, assignments) the teachers will tell you "Oh, well", wont let you make it up and wont allow you an incomplete. You can verify by looking at the school catalog. They reference the military only when it comes to collecting military funds.

Charity School of Nursing....What a disaster of a program. Staff is 100% disorganized and most just don't care. Teachers don't respond and advisors who have been there for years don't know the answer to basic questions. Only 15% of level 3 students pass! 15%! That is 100% a reflection of the teaching staff. Poor management from top to bottom.
