DVC is truly an AMAZING school!! I could not imagine how a university could be any better than this. The professors are passionate and they care about you and your success. The ambiance is thriving and there are so many resources. This school is a dream campus inside and out and i'm truly grateful to be a student, I want my kids to go here!
Overall 4.8
Personally, I think that DVC at Pleasant Hill is really great because it has a really good varsity and people. The campus is really nice, the food is way better than High school lunches and the clubs are really creative as well as open to everybody!
Bad reviews
Overall 1.1
This is a terrible miserable traumatic upsetting environment to be at. Being here has strongly harmed me in ways that are irreversible. I'm a girl who has depression and anxiety and this place has harmed my mental health and made it even worse for me.
Overall 1.1
Their dss center for students with disabilities are very stingy and refuse to offer the necessary resources needed to acccomodate disabilities and make college meaningful for their students. Their dss center is very stingy and phony. They offer Nothing helpful for accomodating disabilities and they care only about themselves and their paycheck.
Overall 1.1
The lack of support and help and the fact that staff devote little or no time to students needs and have little to no concern about their students is very destructive and harmful towards my education and is seriously putting my education in jeopardy.
Overall 1.1
They don't devote enough time and attention to the needs of their students. They care more about themselves and their own desires and they are completely unsupportive towards students. They offer zero support and resources that are crucial for having a successful college experience. They are very frustrating and upsetting to deal with

i HATE this place
Overall 1.9
Yikes, get in and out
Overall 1.9
If you swing in, take classes, and leave- it's fine. The campus is inhospitable to actually linger and study in - the study spaces are few, far between, lacking basic amenities (outlets, table space, stable WiFi). Parking is extremely limited. Facilities open late, and close early- useless for early/late classgoers. Bldgs & bathrooms dirty.
