I can truly say that my experience at Dillard University supercedes each school that I have attended. Dillard is family. I recall being a member of a family instead of another student with a number. Dillard helps to build character and professionalism in students. Faculty are enganging and have student's interest as a priority. Fair Dillard!

The school is amazing. It’s all about how YOU make your experience. The dorms could definitely be better. The food is really good but only on certain days. Most of the staff is super nice but there’s some teachers that simply don’t care. Just make it how you want to! Find yourself at the school because it’s truly not for everyone.

hate this school all they care about is the amount of students they enroll each semester. very rude at the front desk and stuck up. they treat student like they are still in high school.

I attended DU with intentions of getting a taste of the HBCU life.I wish I never did. If you want to be challenged and enhance your character, then DU is not the place.I will be transferring this fall.I felt like I was still in high school the whole time. The staff are very unknowledgeable and don't like you to ask questions.DO NOT LIVE ON CAMPUS!
Overall 1.4
The academics are beyond sub par and lots of work needs to be done to improve it. 10/10 wouldn't recommend coming here. There are other schools in the area and other HBCUs that can provide you with a better education at a better cost. The school does not live up to it's reputation; I don't even see how it can be classified as an "Ivy League HBCU."

Do not enroll at Dillard unless you are 100% sure that this is the university for you. There are higher quality universities for less money, or if you want to attend a university where paying a high tuition is actually WORTH IT, try Xavier! Dillard has some awful professors and a few amazing ones, but overall, it is NOT worth going into debt.

This is the worst HBCU to attend. The professors are mediocre, the work sub par, you will NOT feel like you earned your degree. I felt like I did more work in high school, and they make it hell to transfer. Don't go to Dillard, you will regret it.
