This is an AMAZING school. It is very student based and I feel supported throughout my education.

This isnt a school you go to if you want to party. Most people go to classes and go home. You do get a great learning experience. The campus is vintage and beautiful. Its a you get what you put into school meaning if you want to take advantage of opportunities you can gain some great experience and connections. Nice location close to Chicago

pros -Great location-convenient for stores and close to the city -great staff and faculty -great community -fun RA events & social events cons -wifi is spotting-rent computers for major exams especially if classes are in Parmer -food is eh, recommend dining to go and cyber but some dining food is good P.s not a party school-don't anticipate it

Dominican is a wonderful university and I'm happy I ended up here.
Overall 4.5
I wasn't particularly fond of DU my freshman year, but throughout the rest of my years I realized there are lots of opportunities if you put yourself out there. The professors truly care about the students. You get to know the students within your majors. Lots of opportunities for leadership and research. Not very competitive, students are friendly
Overall 4.5
The social life mostly is surronded on the weekdays because the university is made up of a large body of commuter students, but the residence hall and staff will throw some events to keep you happy on weekends. The campus is small and beautiful making it easy to get around. The resources to help students are endless; JUST HAVE TO GO OUT TO GET EM

Its a beautiful campus and all the people there are nice . If you ask for help, they will definitely help. A quiet environment; perfect for studying and doing homework. The teachers and staff are amazing and are always willing to help. The environment there radiates positive energy.

Seriously great school, but you get out what you put in. Go to all of your classes, get to know students and professors, and don't try to just skate through all four years. If you get involved around campus and get to know professors and faculty there are tons of opportunities!

Transferred out of there, small and private school , no educational goals at , staying on campus is brutal, and boring. I wouldn't recommend it here in the Midwest. I have studied in different countries before so you really should trust me .

The school does not care for it students or their problems.
Overall 1.2
Transferred out of here. Honestly the most dull and boring school you can attend. It is a commuter school so staying on campus can be brutal. Very small, which is bad but in this case really puts a damper on the school. Would NOT reccomend coming here.

Looking for a solid Catholic school? Run, don't walk, in the opposite direction! The clubs are incredibly politically charged, in general the students reside in an echo chamber for their own ideals, unchallenged. If you hold remotely conservative values, you will be isolated. This school is hollow, larping as a serious institution. Biggest regret.
Overall 1.7
Dominican University is a small catholic school, emphasis on small. There is little to no social life outside of sports teams, most students are commuters so they come for class and leave. There are a limited amount of clubs on campus. Teachers here can be very religious but there are a handful of great ones. Not very diverse, mostly hispanic
Overall 1.8
A beautiful campus and its pretty small compared to other Universities in the city. A lot of commuters go to class and go home right away there's nothing really interesting that goes on campus. Professors are a hit or miss at this university, it truly sucks when only 1 professor teaches all lecture and lab sections.
Overall 1.9
Campus life is dead. Dorm living is BAD w bathroom issues every 2 weeks. bathrooms r always nasty. Food is crap. Hard 2 make friends. No events, all clubs are inactive. Staff aren't very helpful. Campus is pretty, but very secluded. School is so PC its annoying, politics is all it cares about. Education wise and professors r the only good thing
