First semester at Douglas College and I am blown away by how amazing the school is. Everyone I have met from faculty to administration to students to security have all been absolutely amazing and have made my first semester at Douglas memorable. I look forward to finishing my education at Douglas College :)

Had a good time at Douglas !

Criminology BA rocks! Loved most of my profs, campus is near sky train, got opportunities to work in the justice system. Social life improves once you get to know people. Highly underrated school IMO.

This is the best college with the best instructors.

Douglas is the best college having all the amenities in the metro Vancouver area

Love douglas, a great school to pursue your future career.

Most of my profs have been awesome so far. They really want you to succeed and give you lots of time outside of class because the classes are small size and teaching is their main focus. If you want to save money but still get a high-quality education, chose DC. I am glad they offer a BA in my program because I don't want to transfer out.

this school is funner than any other placed near my commuter dock point zero

nursing is very poor quality compared to bcit and kwantlen college where I previously attended. nursing labs do not mimic clinical setting. you only do 15 minutes of practical work and its not well coordinated. basically, they are dictatorship. keep your mouth shut or they will kick you out, ie there is no room for discussing anything

terrible school. the students are bullies and the teachers are too. I found the experience very distressing

I don't think this school is good. A very high failure rate in nursing. 7 fails from out class this year.

This place was so depressing. Buildings were bad. No food eateries. If there were, bad service and food was properly made. Instructors dont care. stay away. Place to be depressed

Don't bother taking courses in the summer semester unless you want to be frustrated. Classes are always disrupted either by construction or events; the library and cafeteria close ridiculously early and sometimes unexpectedly; and you pay activity fees with no activities to show for it. Douglas really is in the business of taking your money.

It is not recommended. I think that it's just wasting time and money.
Overall 1.5
Horrible nursing system, they take in students with C+'s (who do not make it through the entire program) as opposed to students who get A+'s and they have too many pre requisites open and there's not enough room in the program for everyone. It is totally unorganized and I do not recommend anyone enduring this terrible and stressful struggle.
Overall 1.5
Douglas College is a business, and they focus on making money. They are trying to impose University tuitions, but lacks Universities quality of education. For those who want to transfer to UBC or Sfu try Langara, because you can achieve higher GPA there. You want something practical ? go for BCIT.
