Good reviews
Overall 4.8
Not recommended for non-traditional students with a family unless you can afford to not work and miss kid activities.
Overall 4.7
This school is great
Overall 4.6
i love du!
Overall 4.5
Strong programs for business, actuarial science, pharmacy. Very expensive so don't pursue a low paying major here. Lots of networking and well respected.
Overall 4.5
Love it here and recommend to anyone looking into a small campus in a big city.
Overall 4.5
Drake University is located in the largest city in Iowa, and while it's no Chicago or NY, it feels like home. There are so many opportunities for your career both on and off campus. Being a Drake Bulldog will take you far in whatever path you pursue.
Overall 4.4
Drake is a super cool campus with a ton of different people of all backgrounds to meet! It’s truly a great college.

goated school
Overall 4.3
Absolutely a home away from home. Excellent academics, involvement, opportunities, and people. Drake is such a wonderful climate to be at. I've met my best friends, had so much fun, and been given crazy amazing opportunities (research, leadership, etc). I can't possibly sum up everything Drake has given to me in 360 characters!!
Overall 4.3
I don't ever want to leave.
Bad reviews
Overall 1.2
this school is alright, but could use some work.
Overall 1.4
Drake has made it clear that it does not care about low income, transfers, first generation, or students of color. There are no resources for students who deal with these challenges. It's catered to the privledged. For a private college, the professors and facilities are very low grade. Drake shredded my mental health.
Overall 1.7
Overall, Drake is mediocre. They have a few good profs and programs . The business school is meh. The "business core" is severely outdated and full or useless classes (bus 195). I don't often regret regret things, but I regret coming to Drake. Unless you are interested act sci or pharmacy, I would recommend you go to a different school.
Overall 1.8
Social life here is hard and non existent. Small school drama and lots of cancel culture. Very liberal campus. The campus layout is fairly nice. The classes are nothing special, so you are better off going to a cheaper public school. Don't waste your time or money here.
Overall 1.8
If you are a piano major... DON'T COME HERE!
