I love Duquesne. There is so much to do since you're right in the heart of Pittsburgh. The school is small enough that you see familiar faces and professors know you personally but big enough to always meet someone new. The classes are definitely challenging. There is always something to do on campus and get involved in as well. Overall, I love it.
Overall 4.7
Fabulous campus and the best professors that really want to see you succeed and be your best.
Overall 4.7
Not a big university but big enough where everyone doesnt know your business. Super friendly people and lots of activities and clubs to join.
Overall 4.7
The location is great being right in Pittsburgh and the weekends can be fun since you're so close to Pitt. Some of the professors are good, others not so much, and the food definitely needs work.

I transferred in and honestly, I found my home here. I am planning on coming back for fall of 2019 for the post-bacc pre-med program

Love this school!

Everyone is super nice and it feels like you are a huge family! The food and housing is pretty good!
Overall 4.5
Love everything about campus, love pitt itself! There are so many food choices which is great but my only complaint is that Chik fil a and Cinco aren't open weekends, and a lot of food options either open early/ close early or open late on weekends which is very annoying
Overall 4.4
kinda an expensive school is you dont have a ton of scholarships. food has gotten better since last semester. tons of activities and clubs to participate in. personally, all of my professors have been great, they really help you grasp onto concepts and are always willing to help you succeed. close to the city but not right in the middle.

The worst mistake I ever had was going to this school and I had a child at 18.
Overall 1.6
Worst mistake of my life was coming here. The academics are okay, but NOT worth the amount of money you pay, same with amenities and food. Not a lot of clubs, activities, or even food choices. Want to feel like you're having the real college experience? Don't go here. Greek life is subject to a single floor in a dorm, that speaks for itself.
Overall 1.8
this school made me suicidal, went through multiple roommates and got covid in a single semester. financial aid is one of the least helpful faculties. they don't have safety buttons outside of campus, which would've been helpful when i got followed by a man right outside of campus. don't go here be so fr

Great school if you like doing nothing

While I entered this place with higher hopes as a transfer student, I sadly struggled to adjust and was disappointed. The campus couldn't fit you even if you wanted to go and doesn't bother too much with communicating with upperclassmen when it comes to clubs and sports. Starting here might be a different story but wouldn't recommend transferring.
Overall 2
Has some good things offer but all around a pretty boring school with pretty horrible meal plans. Very safe campus but not worth it to come here.
