The food isn't the best, the campus just started having housing so i would expect an improvement.

THE BEST SCHOOL EVER!
Overall 4.2
DCC is big on supporting students, they will help you anyway they can. Use their tutoring centers-its free help without judgement. All are welcome, most students here are saving money by attending a few semesters and then moving on. Uncertain about your major? DCC is low risk so try out new things. Best Community based College in the area.
Overall 4.2
Ive been here for 2 semesters and it's pretty good for a community college. I live in the same town so its close by with a short easy commute. There are often social events every week that are free. Theres a lot of areas to sit and do work, they offer private quiet study rooms, and the library computers/printers are always free and accessible

Do not ever go to this school. The staff are inappropriate and nothing but unprofessional.
Overall 1
Terrible school. Some teachers are awesome but most really suck. You get what you pay for. Food is expensive/ low quality. Advisers have no idea what theyre doing. Theyre very good at messing up schedules. Financial office is a joke. Town cops drive through the lot ticketing broken students. Dutchess is a sketchy school. Beware

disgusting.

I wanted to give this school the lowest grades possible because zeroes aren't an option. This is my second time attending DCC and it has only gotten worse in reference to the financial aid offices. I will not be attending this college again because it has been nothing but terrible and I still have to pay when I didn't expect to this whole semester!
Overall 1.2
Worst place. Sketchy people. Professors are incompetent. ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING. Registering in person is pulling teeth as well as trying to speak to an adviser. Plus they switched my curriculum when i was about to graduate please don't waste precious moments of your life in this lifeless idiotic abyss
Overall 1.3
You have to try to make the best of it and close your eyes when you eat the cafeteria food!

DCC has a reputation of being a decent community college, however; they lack staff that are willing to help students achieve their goals. The counselors are not at all knowledgeable. Students are constantly mislead and as a result waste their money on classes that are not needed. This is unacceptable and the staff need to be further educated.

One year was enough to make me want to leave. I hated it and the advisors were mo help at all and it was just a horrible experience overall.
Overall 1.9
During COVID, every prof has their own conference app and Blackboard layout. You're paying for profs to tell you to teach yourselves and come with questions. Computer grades everything but still took my profs WEEKS to return stuff (but brutal with late penalties. Hmm) and boy were they snarky about it. All common areas closed, find an unlocked room
