Loved it here
Overall 4.5
ECSU has been a great experience for me! Ive enjoyed all of my classes with one exception. The CARE program is incredible and full of wonderful staff! (Especially Theresa Bouley and Sudha Swaminathan!) The campus is beautiful, the buildings and classrooms are clean and well maintained. Also, I feel safe on campus & have met some great people!

ECSU Warriors! A great campus in a historic town.

I love Eastern and Willi!
Overall 4.2
I would like people to know that they can make new friends. I very shy person and I struggle to meet new people, but it's pays off at the end of the day. Try to stay connected more than one way.
Overall 4.2
Eastern is an amazing school and the campus is awesome. The surrounding area is not as sketchy as people say it is. I feel completely safe walking at any hour of the night. Theres blue lights everywhere just be aware of your surroundings (duh). Campus activities are okay but friend making in dorms and classes is easy. People are super friendly.

I transferred in, and was happy I did. Eastern is a great school! make sure to get involved.

I loved my time here I was happy this is where I chose. Lots of people don't think its a great school because it is less known but it was perfect for me.

Worst school
Overall 1.6
ECSU isn't good. This school is only good if your on a sports team tbh. Absolutely no night life unless you want to party off campus. It is also a dry campus with ridiculous rules and terrible food. I know of many people who are in the process of transferring.
Overall 1.7
horrible school. the bursar department has been over charging me and hasn't allowed me to register for classes for months. if you like professors who only refer to you by a number, walking to and from class with no social interaction, and being ignored in class, this school is for you!
Overall 1.7
Not for POC ngl... specifically Black People. Just go to central or southern. Save yourself! Unless you're introverted and don't really care to have a good college experience then feel free to stay
Overall 1.8
Has the potential to be a great school, the area however, makes it lose a lot of appeal. Located in the heart of a rough city, where there is nothing to do is not the best place to put young adults. The dining hall was almost always disappointing and I ended up eating there only when I had not other choice. Transferred out after two semesters.
Overall 1.9
The area is very dangerous to the point where the town cancels holidays like halloween. If you dont have a car you are going to be more bored, because they is little to no other way of transportation. Most of the teachers and majors suck, and most of the clubs are later in the day. Not commuter friendly, suggest picking another school
Overall 2
It's a state school so nothing facy, not your typical Ivy league... Location sucks cause it's in Willimantic and it's hella sketchy. You don't want to walk around by yourself at night in downtown. Food is wack here and everything they sell at student center is way overpriced. There's only one decent restaurant near by and its expansive too.

It's really boring here at Eastern

I commute so I knew it would be hard to make friends but I didn't think people would avoid me because of it! I feel very unwelcome and I plan on transferring ASAP Safety is fine, make sure you have pepper spray bc the stairwells in the parking garage have no cameras. The Stu has decent food but avoid Hurley. Don't come here if you commute!!
