I have been taking the online course for my AA in Arts. The classes require you to do your work, like any other college. Straight As are definitely obtainable if you complete your assignments and study the material. Most teachers are very responsive and helpful. Anytime I felt an assignment was graded incorrectly they were willing to re-evaluate

EGCC may have some professors that fall short of 'professional', but you can give feedback regarding it at the end of the semester. I have not had one yet in the 1 year I have been here. Overall as an online student, I enjoy EGCC. I have upheld a 4.0 GPA and have met some great professors & peers. Your experience at this college will be subjective.

Ive been going here for years after i got my AA and am currently working on a certificate program while i work on my BS. Favorite school i have ever been to and wished they were a 4 year. Staff and teachers are usually great and willing to help you with whatever it is you may need. I did all online and it was great.
Overall 4.5
I do not understand why anyone would give a negative review; this has not been my experience whatsoever. I attend online and all my classes so far have been taught by professional, competent instructors. I have attended this college for three semesters, it is free through my union, and I have been pleasantly surprised. Great experience so far.
Overall 4.5
Great school, good teachers, small classes, low tuition.
Overall 4.5
This is a wonderful school with phenominal professors. They truly do want the student to succeed and they help whenever they are asked!

This is the worst school I've attended. The professors don't teach. They respond to emails very late or not at all. They take forever to grade assignments. The HIM program is a dumpster fire. There are no lectures, it's basically "here's the books you need, teach yourself, and figure it out".
Overall 1
Absolutely the worst school I have ever attended, the only good thing is that my employer is paying for me to go to this dumpster fire that pretends its a school.
Overall 1
The online courses are terrible. Instructions are far from clear, very few professors are willing to clarify and assist. Professors will make grave errors and refuse to fix them. Constant online errors from the site make it nearly impossible to get anything done. It's a cheap college and it shows in every possible way.
Overall 1.1
This college is sad. Their job qualifications must be non-existent.
Overall 1.3
This school is basically a joke. Pay your money they will give you a degree. People only fail if they drop out.
Overall 1.6
I'm only 4 courses into my online degree. Instruction and organization is a disappointing mess. Instructors are far from helpful. Elementary level spelling and grammar errors in instruction and provided learning materials. I've learned that working hard and using critical thinking is not necessarily what the instructors want for full marks.

Professors can be unprofessional at times

None.

I have been attending Eastern Gateway Community college since 2020. I am graduating this year and I have to say out of all of the colleges I've attended this has to be the easiest and most convenient college I have ever attended, since I am online. The only downside is that their credits don't transfer. So, if you start here finish here.
