Great community college. There's a lot of resources that ever student should get their hands on.
Overall 5
I've been to two other colleges/universities before El Camino and I can say with certainty that my best college experience has been here at El Camino College. I love the campus, the services/help they offer, and all of the professors I had. Finished my undergrad here and I am so grateful for it.

Step on campus walk around and just take it all in. Parking is great, everything is near, surrounding areas is awesome, and there people from all different backgrounds that attend there.
Overall 5
I would just like to say you get out what you put in. No school is perfect because there are staff at every school who do their jobs as if they don’t care. However, I receive counseling with no problems. I get resources to help with books. I get free food and clothes when I need to. I get help with transportation. I just ask until I get it.

Bad reviews

El Camino College does not care for its students. Any service that is advertised can't be booked. Need academic help? Have a learning difference? Need a lower level class? El Camino will NOT PROVIDE any of these. Don't believe the admissions counselors. They will lie through their teeth to get you to enroll and then leave you hanging.
Overall 1
Avoid the math department here at all costs!!!! The difficulty of classes arent even comparable to other community colleges. Professors just set you up to fail here. Avoid marks at all costs!!!!!! That joke ruined my life.
Overall 1
Garbage school, professors suck.
Overall 1
Horrible school and staff.
Overall 1.1
Some of the classes are good, but someone needs to check administration. I'm surprised how so many incompetent administrators were given their position as they clearly lack professionalism. If this campus is the only one you can attend, then sure go for it. If you can go, ANYWHERE, virtually anywhere else, stay away. It's not worth the headache.
Overall 1.2
Professors bully students in the science departments at this school. Attend anywhere but this garbage institution.
Overall 1.2
Horrible administrators at this campus. Aside from inappropriate (very rude) communication, are very arrogant and could care less about student success.
Overall 1.2
This college is the perfect example of what a college shouldnt be. Not only does there seem to be tension between staff and administration, but when I was here we kept getting police alerts of unsafe incidents going on on campus. I surely didnt feel comfortable going to my classes for safety reasons as well as due to bullying from several profs
Overall 1.2
Attending here was my biggest regret. Although I've had a few gem professors in the humanities departments, I've had some of the worst professors in the chemistry and math departments. Namely, Moore and Marks. Avoid both like the plague. Administration is also unhelpful and will not acknowledge any mistakes on their own end.
Overall 1.3
The internet is AWFUL and overall the mood here is very drowzy. However, if you are at a different university coming here for a summer class it is perfect.
