Super college. Worth it, a great value. Nice staff. Great teachers.

Elgin Community College is a great college for students to start their journey toward getting an associate degree. ECC is an equal opportunity for all students, and tuition is great for them. I would recommend ECC to all students to attend. As well as great professors who are willing to teach the student how to become successful in life.

I am a sophomore here now at ECC and it has been such an amazing time. Great campus, its open pretty late which is a plus because I always have a place to go and get homework and projects done. Everyone I've met here is really nice, including the teachers. There are so many places around campus to sit and talk or do homework. I love it here(:

So glad I chose to attend here.
Overall 4.9
The teachers I have had so far are fantastic and I am learning a lot. The location is also great because there is so much around it. It's not like it is in the middle of no where. I am very happy with the school overall.

The more I got involved in ECC and connected with faculty and fellow students, the more I realized what a special place ECC is. The inclusivity and community fostered here cannot be found anywhere else. Graduate will be very bittersweet :')

It's always clean and everyone is respectful.

I recommend going to this college since people are really friendly and respectful. The staff are also friendly and respectful. This also helped me form a friend group which has helped me out socially. I would highly recommend this college.

I suggest only going here if it saves you money. If not, there are better community colleges out there. Campus staff here are condescending towards everyone and everyone. When I contacted the trucking department for example, the receptionists were extremely rude. Major turn off..
Overall 1.8
The people here are very snobby. If you try to be better than anyone, they will talk behind your back as if you think youre all that. The faculty (some) do more than what they need to, however, other faculty members dont want to deal with you or even help you. Some advisers even tell you to ask your teachers to answer questions, rather than guide u

Glad to be transferring out of here. This school is very antisocial. The only way to make friends is to join a club and even that isn’t surefire. Maybe because there’s no dorms but it also lacks school spirit and has no sense of community. People don’t stop and talk to each other. They simply show up for class and leave. The only pro is cheap
