I think it’s a great size campus. I recommend it to everyone!
Overall 4.8
Fairmont is a great school and yet is surprisingly underrated. There is a great teacher to student ratio and the teachers really care about you. You aren't just a number and the school is just the right size.
Overall 4.6
Overall this is a great school. It is easy to get to if you do not live on campus, and the campus itself is very easy to navigate on foot. The only downside in my opinion is, communication. I have repeatedly found communication to be lacking big time. When it comes to urgent matters it is next to impossible to get a timely reply.

If you actually want an education, go here! Professors will actually work with you. Don't listen to the comments about comparing FSU to WVU, I went there & it is not that great & super unsafe. Fairmont state is perfect for those focused on a specific career. The city itself is not bad at all, there is a lot to do if you actually seek it out.

I have loved being a student at Fairmont State University. The Business Program is an accredited program that offers a lot of opportunities to students that set them up to get a job after school or pursue a further education in a potential MBA program. It is so easy to meet and become close to people on campus. I am truly grateful for this school.
Overall 4.4
Best decision I ever made, deciding to come to school here, I highly recommend.
Overall 4.2
This school has made such a great impact on my life. You can be anyone you went here and the community is great. High key recommend Chi Alpha, its co-ed and the biggest organization on campus. Definitely a life and game changer. Education here is also great and they really help students get internships.

Don't go here. The campus looks nice but the town is a ghetto. Some of the professors are helpful but most don't care about their students. Especially the foreign ones. There are no activities for students and greek life is a joke.

The "student service center" is mainly a group of people who get paid to serve you but do everything but serve you. The announcements on campus are limited to unimportant things but when they are removing parking or are going to give you a late fee you hear nothing about it until its too late. The campus police are a joke as well.
Overall 1.7
the campus could be better. Mainly I attended due to the small sizes and the amazing Honors program.
Overall 1.9
Campus is beautiful, but the town around it is disappointing. I never even knew this place existed. It's considered a commuter school, so the weekends are boring unless you like to party. The dorms are old and dingy, but other than that, I love it.
Overall 1.9
So the area around Fairmont is terrible. There is only a Wal-mart, and it's a half hour drive to anywhere exciting. Dorm life sucks, there are constant fire alarms. The people from D.C here are the main cause of lots of problems on campus. Lots of drug use and people making stupid decisions. First Fall Semesters there are the worst.
Overall 2
I haven't been unhappier in my life, but I am learning.
Overall 2
It has its ups and definitely its downs. Yes the campus is small so you don't have to go far to get to your classes if you live on campus, and the classes are smaller so you get more one on one time with your professor. If you don't have a car than you will be bored, especially if you're not persistent about getting a job than you won't get one.
