Good reviews

Location sits in a small town, outside of the local community like most HBCU's do. Not a primary resident of NC but overall beautiful campus and people.

I have loved my experience at FSU so far, no complaints

The traditional and non-traditional students great institution for learning. So bring your talents to FSU and increase the value.

Amazing faculty and staff

Awesome university
Overall 4.3
This institution is a great place for students who aren't looking for a large campus space. It is a very friendly, and well-rounded school. The educational quality of the school is up to part. This school provides a great education to their students. They believe that all of their students have a equal amount of opportunity.

Awesome!

I have seemed to enjoy my time here at FSU. I have had no problems with financial aid. The Bronco One Stop Shop has everything you need for any concerns. There are a ton of clubs to choose from. The professors aren't as interactive as I'd like them to be. All staff treats me with dignity and respect. The school is very military-friendly.

The worst school I have ever been to. No help in any department. God awful service how is this a university. I hope to transfer out of this school soon. +-

This school has mold in every dorm, they put little effort in the food and events, and it is beside a street full of homeless people wandering around even on campus sometimes! This school is the worst if you can afford better go for it!!!
Overall 1.1
The staff and the faculty are uncaring. The university is off the murc, not much needs to be said bout location just look up the crime rate its the worst area in Fayetteville
Overall 1.3
A university on its last legs is the only way to sum it up... Boasts HBCU Pride but uses HBCU as an excuse at the same time.. Dorms with mold, Aramark Prison food, VERY violent location of campus off Murchison rd. (food delivery not possible to dorms due to drivers being robbed) Handicap parking is non existent, Instructors are 50/50 good and bad..
Overall 1.3
This school sucks overall. I'm a transfer student and I'm very unimpressed with the school. I have a 3.6 GPA and I haven't been offered any scholarships by the school the whole time I've been here (going on 3 years). I also got accepted at UNC Charlotte with scholarships, but I wanted to stay closer to home. I won't be returning for Grad school.
Overall 1.3
Turdville. Faculty are victims of incompetent administration. Students are victims of incompetent colleagues.
Overall 1.5
I wouldn't recommend. Advisors and teachers never respond to emails or phone calls. Teachers are rude. The school never gives you updates about important dates and events. You have to go on their website to find out what is going on. They also never pick up the phone or answer their emails. I did not enjoy my experience at this college.
Overall 1.5
The school is very rundown with very few oppurtunity for young incoming freshman. Although it is a great school if you are looking to attend for a year or so to knock of Gen Ed's as the school does not offer much of a challenge.
Overall 1.5
The school is located in a dangerous area. People are routinely attacked and robbed. Security is not adequate. The quality of the school sucks and the majority of the professors in the social work graduate program could care less about the students or their program.
