This is a great community full of family like professors who want to see you succeed!

Not worth a thing.

Do not go here. The school is in debt due to years of pouring money into sports programs that are terrible (football, lol), they’re losing staff left and right because everyone is stretched so thin, professors do not care because nobody is getting raises, facilities are falling apart. Just stay VERY far away from this mess of a school.

The campus sucks, there is absolutely no security in the classroom buildings, you will find weed left on stair cases. The activity room is destroyed every year and the elevator has been shut down multiple times due to vandalism. Most teachers are lazy and do not care to teach their subjects instead continuously refer you to a book. Waste of money.

After being an alumni for over a decade, there is no worth in this university. You will not get quality education that you can't pay off, connection, resources, and so forth from this school. Don't fall for the Hype, Don't fall for the "sticker price" shenanigans. Find somewhere else worth your time and resources.

WIthout a dought the worst choice of my life to attend this school. The proffessors are ok, But everything else about the school is horrible. Unorganized, not homey, to many reasons to fit in only 350 characters!
Overall 1.7
Ugly campus, people don't care, located in the middle of nowhere
Overall 1.7
This place sucks. Terrible choice. Fight clubs in the dorms, racial issues, people arrested etc. Sports teams suck. Varsity hockey coaches know little more than what they learned playing high school hockey 30 years ago. Classes are okay. There is a reason people leave after one semester. Emotional and social desert. STAY AWAY.

I've only been here a semester, but for most people that seems like enough. The dropouttransfer rate has to be over 50%. Finlandia does a great job at marketing and making you think it's okay and then not caring about what it actually is. I'm staying because I love my professors and managed to make some great friends, but it wasn't easy.

I enjoy the outdoors but there isn't much to do up here once you've done it a few times... Since the majority of students at Finlandia live in the dorm across the street from the campus, FU does not consider the needs and safety of commuters in harrowing weather conditions, such as today.
