Best public university in Florida. Go Owls.
Overall 5
The best place to go to college if you love the beach and want a great education!

Professors care about teaching and helping students. Also, they are easy to approach if you have any questions. Class sizes are smaller and learning experience is nice. I really recommend FAU to anyone.
Overall 4.9
I love my school for the amount of opportunities they present. They do a great job on campus and online. It's a great school if you like living by the beach and doing outside activities. Florida has a lot of options for students our age. There's a lot to do in South Florida. The faculty and staff are fairly supportive and good professors.
Overall 4.9
I've enjoyed my time at FAU so far. The campus is pretty and feels safe, with a nice gym and restaurants. I believe the school is becoming more recognized, especially after the Owls' March Madness performance. The main downside is the cost of living, but I believe that the school is planning on building more on-campus housing in the future.

the worse

If you want to be stressed about not being able to take the required classes for your degree, a school with staff full of excuses, poor communication and organization skill then go to FAU. They constantly lose student records that end up on holds on student accounts.
Overall 1
Barely any classes offered sometimes having to wait an entire year for the course since its only offered one time a year. The professors require participation and group work that is not optional. The people there are rude where no one bothers trying to make friends with you. Makes you feel like graduating's impossible. Best to pick somewhere else.

Just go to FIU. Barely any classes offered sometimes having to wait an entire year for the course since its only offered one time a year. Professors are okay, Admin sucks and billing sucks. Really wish I listened to friends who transferred from FAU to FIU and tried to warn me.

One of the worse College I ever attended! As a student with a disability, a person of color and an older person this College is a joke! Some of the Professors are idiots they are all about themselves. And if you speak up and or speak out the College punish you for having a voice. Even if you go to the Newspaper and let them know they do not care!
Overall 1
No one is competent at FAU and I dont know a single soul who enjoyed their time their including my mother who received her degree from there. Only bad things to say. Worst state school there is. Do t talk to academic advisors, they are clueless.
Overall 1.1
don't care abt ur safety, no opputunities at all, horrible profs and advisors and faculty, degree plans are just an absolute mess everything is so bad here biggest regret
Overall 1.1
Graduating next semester all signed up and ready to go when I get a email they cancel one of my required classes. I have no other options as the other ones are filled this late into registration. Registration was awful every semester completely out of my control. Supposed to be graduating next semester and they make things so difficult. AVOID FAU
Overall 1.3
This College is horrible if not down right unethical. They force students to be online only or in person only for their degrees. They recently strong armed us to move from the google client to microsoft by preventing us from viewing canvas. I have tons of horror stories from this college And once I graduate. You can bet I'm talking.
Overall 1.4
Civil Engineering program at this school is the worst.
