Great place to learn

Great school. Wonderful learning materials, and sensational professors. I just completed MGF1107 Math class with Professor Broussard and she was a superb teacher who provided fabulous training materials to make it easy to solve the math problems.

I love FSCJ. Everytime I need help they’re able to help me out with admissions and my associates requirements. And the professors I’ve taken so far are amazing! (Also thank you ratemyprofessors.com) Thank you for everything can’t wait to graduate!

I love FSCJ the professors connect with the students, classrooms are small in size and advising is very helpful. I left UNF to come back to FSCJ after obtaining my AS/AA. FSCJ is home for me and I’m excited to complete my bachelor degree in biomedical science program here!

This is a community college; it is just like every other community college. This school helped me get a full tuition grant and I made presidential honor roll twice now for both semesters of my first year. Not because I am smart but because I had great teachers who took the time to teach me. From dirt poor to on the path of becoming a chiropractor.

IT is not a good school.

Worthless. This was a bad education. I had a teacher who admitted they knew nothing of the subject and deferred us to YouTube and Lynda to learn the material. I asked for a refund and they said no, but I could take the (same) class over again. When it all went online there was literally NO teaching anything. You read the book.

I am a transfer student and i wish wish i had had went here . I came here because the classes are cheaper , but the mess you over with housing and all the hidden fees they have and then they will blame you for not knowing the fee ever though they are hidden. I have had never dropped or failed a class in my entire college career until i went here

It's telling that "quality of education" isn't even on this list. The education here is very poor. It's all self study. There is NO teaching anything going on at this school. You read a book you rent online and answer comprehension questions. Don't waste your money.
Overall 1.4
Don't expect anything to go smoothly. When you call asking to talk to someone from financial aid they just send you to the next available person who you'll have to get you to put you in another line and you'll wait for while before getting a call, but don't expect help. I was on top of them and it took them from Mar to Aug to get my fin aid right.

Avoid! Advisors cost me time, money, aid opportunities, and almost the ability to transfer. They lied to me. I lost my Pell Grant because of their advising, only to get it again after I transferred. Should have never lost it. Finance department kicked me from classes for non-payment bc they did not process my loan/aid on time. FSCJ is a scam.

You get what you pay for with this school.
Overall 1.7
Professors are not professional and only care about their paychecks, especially Professor Bloodworth.
Overall 1.7
I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend this school unless you are attending the Culinary program with Chef Grigsby or the English program with Professor Jefferies and Professor Gilmore. DO NOT go to this school if you are in the Business program. Go straight to another school.

I went to the school once and did the rest online. Its a community college.
