I currently go here and it's a great place. One of the very very few places that is affordable for my specialized degree without having to invest 4 plus years. I'm an advanced age student( in my 30s) and my life doesn't allow to go back to a 4 year. My mom went here as well about 30 years ago and she loved it and it opened up so many opportunities
Overall 4.4
Spent most of my time at the Public Safety Center. Great main campus and training center. I believe I got a better education here at a tech school than at any 4 year.

Great school, love the location of the Appleton Campus.

A really good place with a lot of opportunities!
Overall 4.2
I feel as if I've been able to apply 90% of the topics discuses in class. To actually apply the knowledge learned is increasingly important to me.
Overall 4.1
School has a great atmosphere and the faculty truly care about the students.

I have been at FVTC for the past year finishing up on my general education requirements, and the experience has been great. I took a five year gap between my studies, and returning back to college with a good support system is really important. My academic counselor Jeff, teachers, and tutors all been very valuable in their support for my academic
Overall 4
FVTC is an awesome place to get an education! I have had job offers from many places without even applying. The reputation of FVTC turning out graduates with quality skills is second to none in Wisconsin.

There administration is horrible, and the majority of the teachers could care less if you succeed. You're a number at this school, and are easily replaced, esp if you're a nursing student. Yes its much cheaper than going to a private/community college, but you get what you pay for at this school which is a crappy, overall experience.
Overall 2
No money/support into their athletic teams they have. (yes they have a bball team) Teachers are a hit or miss for general classes. Some are great and some are not. Nursing program here is screwed up, they give scholarships to the ones who test well on state board tests just to keep them here. Nursing program is not two years its actually five!!!
