Very amazing school!

FMU has an array of resources to offer any student that wishes to experience life at a slower yet challenging pace. Most of my classes do not exceed 12 students and I get very diligent attention and mentorship from all of my professors. As an English major, it is encouraging to be taught under such prestigious professors. Most of whom have PHDs!
Overall 4.5
Francis Marion University is one of the best schools in South Carolina. The tution is very affordable, the campus is filled with beautiful scenary, and the people are wonderful. The best choice I made was attending FMU.
Overall 4.4
Great Campus. A lot of opportunities. Small classes. Hands on staff. Help all students with jobs, internships, etc. Different cuisine every day, along with southern favorites. The Grill has great food. Beautiful campus. Everyone is nice. Parking is ok.

FMU is an amazing university for you to grow as both a student and person. There are so many opportunities for campus involvement and career building. The faculty is amazing and the professors are always there to help. Everyone here makes it feel like a family away from your family.
Overall 4.1
Francis Marion University is a great place to go to if you are looking for a school to get your degree at that doesn't cost a ridiculous amount of money. Most people go to a technical school and then transfer in to complete their major and it is a great way to save lots of money. A lot of stuff to do-- many clubs, lots of places to chill.

This school really sucks.
Overall 1.1
Don't attend here if you're from Florence because its literally high school, no change and no growth, had to blast out of there and went to USC
Overall 1.3
Its bad, just commute. you're throwing your potential away at this school.
Overall 1.3
The workers in Financial aid are rude and hardly help. The workers always have attitudes. I dread going in there.
Overall 1.5
This university needs more input from students who have attended it already makes me want to back down or not go
Overall 1.5
Francis Marion is an overall okay school. The campus looks good, however in my first year I have only met two professor that like. The food is awful, the internet is awful, the library is super small, during finals good luck using a computer. FMU is a cheap college to go to, but it is cheap for a reason.

Dont go here
Overall 1.7
I definitely wouldn't recommend coming to this school for any kind of degree. I moved out of housing because the food and rooms were terrible. Most of the professors here act like they're here just for a job and don't really want to teach. Some of the professors also act like respect only goes one way but it goes both ways and they can be very rude
Overall 1.8
Easy to get in Hard to get out. At this point I feel like they’re just playing with my money and my mental health. Cheapest school in SC with mediocre education (get what you pay for).
Overall 1.8
I participated in the speech pathology graduate program at Francis Marion University and it has been a terrible experience. Professors berate and belittle students by consistently creating unnecessary drama. Not diverse at all, very Christian oriented. Professors never give students the benefit of the doubt
