Overall 4.7
People are easy to get along with. Most professors are laid back and fun to be around but the classes are challenging.
Overall 4.7
I was a transfer student from a 4 year school and have never regretted my decision to come to FSU. Individuals with major complaints haven't experienced another college. I was a strong student at both schools, but FSU provided way more support on so many levels, and I've enjoyed my time here socially much more. It's a great mid size school.

Frostburg is a great school but it is not for everyone. If you are the type of person who doesn't make socialize or is productive. I would not recommend Frostburg because your experience is thrives off of what you do. But if you are good at socializing and being productive it is the school for you.
Overall 4.4
Frostburg is what you make it. Since it is in the middle of no where, it is your responsibility to make it enjoy able. You can do that my making friends, joining organizations, and staying productive. There are things to do in Frostburg, you have to go out and adventure to find them though. The campus also puts on events for students often.

Love it!
Overall 4.3
I LOVE Frostburg. We have a bad rep sure, but Id never consider going anywhere else. The campus is beautiful, the professors are great, the academics are amazing, the people are fun, the opportunities are endless. I made so many moves and connections my freshman year that I am set for the next 3 years. 100/10 highly recommend FSU!!
Overall 4.3
LOVE it here! FSU has a terrible reputation but it is honestly great. They offer study abroad programs even to first semester freshman. All professors are approachable. If you need help you can easy find someone; if they do not know they will find someone who does. Honors program is easily doable. They have a club for just about anything.

Frostburg is for the students that want a good education from an AACSB Accredited school without taking on tons of debt. I enjoyed my time here and graduated debt free.

Horrible School. Do yourself a favor and do not go here.

Old and falling apart.

Frostburg State University is a very cost efficient school if you are looking to get out with little to no debt. Everything else about this school stinks. It is located in the middle of no where. If you have aspirations of majoring in a Stem field, FSU does a terrible job about helping students find jobs. Living in the dorms suck as well.
Overall 1.3
they shut down all parties and anything fun. why should anyone come to a university when there is nothing to do but go to school?
Overall 1.4
Freezing cold for 9/12 months too hot to go outside 3/12 months. No respect from anyone, teachers or students.
Overall 1.5
If you can go somewhere else, go somewhere else. Sure, the party scene is pretty rowdy and is fun, but that's all there is to do; drink. I transferred out after my second year. The town is literally so boring and the campus is tiny. The academics are a joke and really no one works in their field of study after graduation. Last resort fallback.
Overall 1.5
This school is okay. If you have the opportunity to go somewhere else you should! A lot of people I know are clamoring to transfer out of here.
Overall 1.6
Boring and not much to do here.
Overall 1.8
It's gone downhill year after year, they built two facilities and expect us to act like we love them, yeah if you're an engineering or science major. And there is NOTHING going on. They have a once a month draw, there's 0 school spirit and people leave every weekend, place feels abandoned. Though there are a lot of parties, they get canned easily
