Great place! Great people! Glad to have gone here.

This is the best school ever!!! I got to spend 3 weeks in Disney World in May studying math and I got class credit for it! There are so many opportunities here and the professors want to know their students and help them as much as they can, so they are very invested. I am super close to some of my professors and they all seem to really care! FU!
Overall 4.7
Furman is a wonderful school all around. The people are friendly and diverse, campus is GORGEOUS, facilities are much better than average, professors want you to do well, greek life is fun but not necessary for a good time. Definitely academically rigorous, but I like that the students tend to be driven and that I learn so much. So glad I chose FU!
Overall 4.6
Highly underrated institution. The acceptance rate is not representative of the difficulty here. The community is fantastic and there are major efforts to make campus more inclusive for a school in the south. Social scene is what you make of it. Food is amazing if you are not super picky. Furman has great connections with alumni and grad schools.

Furman is such a bad school that I have no desire to step into a classroom ever again. I get physically ill thinking of taking another class, and I know it is because of how I was treated so badly at Furman. They will ruin your desire to learn because of their selfishness and arrogance.
Overall 1.1
Reputation only extends to upstate SC. You will never leave campus, forget downtown. Furman students are notorious for having little to no real world experience. Yes the campus is pretty, enjoy watching half your tuition go into flowers and grass. Internet? Remediation. You will get food poison. Plane and boring. Worst use of $200,000.
Overall 1.2
Furman needs to change its logo to pretty on the outside and ugly on the inside. The campus is pretty, but the people are terrible. I have never met a larger group of rude, selfish and self-serving people in my life. If you are a decent human being, you will be eaten alive by the blood suckers that populate this school and its faculty.
Overall 1.4
Great faculty. President and administration Out of touch. Pretty campus, NO security. Location Remote. Course selection Limited. Athletic Spirit Meh. Socially and racially CLOSED. Greek life FU is trying to close it down nothing social. Food Narrow window of availability. Career support Get in touch with alumni".

These schools tough grading is not made up for with its reputation.
