great school to attend when you work full time and have three kids.
Overall 4.9
I loved my time at Gateway. They really have a lot to offer. I always felt I had support and lots of options. Always seemed like something (good) was going on. Wish it was a four year school. This review may sound fake but I promise you its not! I really enjoyed my time at Gateway! Dont pass it up!
Overall 4.7
Have had nothing but wonderful experiences with professors at this school, however, as others have mentioned Financial aid office, bursars, etc. are all very rude. Good luck if you have to contact someone or let alone your guidance counselor, they will ignore you for months until they absolutely can’t anymore.
Overall 4.7
I love this school. The new location is beautiful, with a rooftop terrace, clean hallways filled with student artwork, and a location to die for. Right in the heart of New Haven, there are many nice cafes and restaurants to go to. I have great professors, and have had a great experience here thus far.
Overall 4.6

Nice school, clean and safe. Staff is awesome
Overall 4.5
From the moment I stepped foot on the campus, I fell in love! Its absolutely beautiful. The teachers that I have had so far are exceptional!!
Overall 4.5
The campus is located in Downtown New Haven, the "hub"of New Haven, CT. The campus is almost brand new and spans two blocks. There are many caring and diligent professors. If you go to class, put in the work, ask for help, and get involved, you will have an awesome experience.
Bad reviews
Overall 1
Unprofessional staff, rude, some even hostile and made me uncomfortable to be there. I wouldn't waste my time or money going to this school. They lose your papers and then expect you to just redo classes. They need to do mental evaluations of their professors and directors of programs.
Overall 1
Can someone only accept the people who are serious about learning instead of blocking the hallways and being obnoxious, the application process is a joke, you take a placement exam and your accepted. Professors need to be fired because most of them are awful and need lessons on instructing a class. Parking and location are awful.
Overall 1.3
No parking. Getting in and out crazy. Every day during 7:00,traffic backed up six to eight levels and nobody moving. Little security. No metal detectors with what's going on in colleges. Poor planning. You can hear the next door class through the walls.
Overall 1.5
Some professors are great some are awful
Overall 1.5
School is horrible
Overall 1.5
A few of my classes doing college level work. No outdoor bench to sit on. You're either in the college or out on the streets in New Haven. Internet is spotty and down often. The few clubs are scheduled in the day, none at night. No student union. Not enough parking for the # of students. Just a place to go to classes and get out.
Overall 1.5
My third year here. Difficult to register, long lines made worse by misinformation. Bookstore chaotic. More long lines. There are no common grounds, no outdoor places to sit. Very slow internet when it's working, some areas you can't make a phone call. Be careful taking on-line courses. Very little help from teachers. It's cheap. That's all.
Overall 1.5
Gateway makes me wonder! Well to be honest being a native speaker of both French and English I am very dissatisfied with the foreign language department in general, the courses are well lackluster, they have teachers who to be honest can not even speak the languages correctly. The campus is in the wrong location and parking is a nightmare.
Overall 1.6
Not enough parking. Drove all the way to the top to find zero spaces, and I wasn't the only one by far. Then we were sent to another parking area. Who builds a parking garage with not enough parking spaces? Classes overfilled, not enough time between classes because of all the crowded halls of people going nowhere.
Overall 1.7
Some of the professors are so bad and unprofessional that is them who have to take some classes.
