Most of the campus are in downtown Atlanta, and the library and faculty are good. It gives students opportunity to grow and organizes career or job fairs. Also, it provides opportunities for networking. There are several buildings for on-campus housing.

Would I recommend someone to go to GSU? The answer is yes and no. I personally really like GSU because coming in I made friends and joined different clubs at the school to make my experience better. GSU is definitely what you make of it, join clubs go to your RA social events to try and meet new people. But yes the homelessness is a downside. 8/10

Not for the faint of heart. Practice self defense and ignoring skills...
Also - DO NOT TRUST your academic advisor. They will mislead you. Be safe, get what you need, and get OUT. That's my best advice.

don't come here, the dorms suck and most of the people are worse. the attitude of folks here needs changing. too many rude people for no reason. had a roommate trap me in the bathroom while I was showering by stacking the gsu provided microwave refrigerators against the bathroom door. I'm transferring out, this place has genuinely made me suicidal.
Overall 1
Men on campus constantly made me uncomfortable. There's no community feeling, and students in class don't care about academics. If you're a good student, expect to do all the work yourself. Most clubs are defunct. Don't get used to this school before seeing a campus that is maintained and beautiful, with great academics. Transfer out when you can.

The WORST staff and will pawn you off on another department the moment you ask them anything. They also treat you as if you work for them despite the fact you pay them.
Overall 1
The health department (most unimportant dept in the school) goes out of its way to make sure you can’t register for classes. They’ll put a hold on your registration just to demand a copy of your vaccinations. You know, the ones you got to attend ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. They don’t posses the intellect to make that connection.

KSU used to be a good school before COVID, and now it's really messed up. This school has a forgotten son the Marrietta Campus. It's really dead!
Overall 1
No way, I can't wait to move out to another school, their professors are the worst thing, they rely on online websites
Overall 1.2
I completed my masters at the school Magna Cum Laude but it was all because I played by the rules.
This is not an ethical institution and I didn't know what I was getting myself into.
This is a DEI institution and at least for the school of education instead of pedagogy I was taught about white supremacy.
Be conscious of your morals.
Overall 1.3
Georgia state will show you what people mean when they say college is a business. Here you will also meet some of ATL best scam artists in the financial aid department. Your advisor will lie to you to get you out her office faster and wont contact you at all until you request a new advisor.
Overall 1.3
dirty, professors aren't well equipped most just want a paycheck and dip. they have a lot of student instructors and TAs teaching classes instead of actual PhD professors; so the educations isn't all that great. ACADEMIC ADVISORS SUCK AND GIVE INCORRECT INFO! Had an academic advisor tell me to not only figure out the schedule myself& switch majors.
