The nursing program is not glamorous. Instructors are unprepared and unorganized. Schedules are terrible. They will beat you down and make you feel worthless and stupid. Its hard to keep your head up in such a rigorous, unorganized program. If you want a good experience dont come here you wont get it.
Overall 1.5
the nursing program is so unorganized, most of the time the professors dont even know what we are supposed to do or whats due that week. One of the professors told the whole class to not post bad evaluations because she said some studentswere just dumb and they just want to hear from the ones that are passing and happy w/program Horrible program!
Overall 1.9
Beware of the LPN program. No study guides, 12 hour unpaid clinical's at nursing homes doing 95 % aide work, an exit exam that weigh 25%, useless faculty who only read PowerPoints vs teach, if your 5 min late at clinical's or sim’s your sent home! Can’t work due to the program. 1 UNSAT & you’re out of the program. You’ve been warned!!!
Overall 1.9
It's very rundown, waste bins are falling off the walls, paint is peeling, and there's a certain smell in the air.
Also, the internet is very unreliable and it is in a cellular dead zone. Good luck getting assignments done here.
The school's reputation is also going downhill. The president was arrested for DUI and reckless driving in 2023.
Overall 2
Nursing program is completely mismanaged and unorganized. Instructors don't even follow there own syllabus. It's obvious they don't have backgrounds in education. Just because you can get a certificate to teach doesn't mean you should.
Overall 2
If you are looking into the nursing program, don't walk, run. Many prof. plays favorites, grading, and testing are ridiculous, and the scheduling is so unorganized it is disturbing to try to learn in that environment. The expect 120% from you, and make every excuse in the world why they can't come through on time, or why schedules are a mess.
