I love taking classes here. They make the website really easy to use and have great professors
Overall 5
This is a school that feels more like a university. Sincere, dedicated, diverse staff, excellent, lucid professors, interesting majors, and a decent area to study in. Definitely take advantage of the very helpful counselors and staff. They're very well versed in what they know. I highly recommend this college to everyone. You won't regret it! :)

Great school with great professors!

Great place and chill. OCC is nice but GWC has its perks too . With many aids and less hassle with classes
Overall 4.8
I’m very happy to be a student at Golden West College. The professors I have had so far are very knowledgeable and helpful.
Overall 4.8
Beautiful campus and the new buildings are stunning. Great instructors and friendly campus
Overall 4.7
I've gone to Golden West, for four years, and I love it. My advice is: read the emails! The school has a ton of resources, but barely anyone takes advantage of them. Wonderful staff, I've only encountered two teachers. I didn't like in my four years.

Its awesome

Overall GWC is a great school for me, professors and counselors seem to really care about you and help in any way you need. They sometimes have events for students to eat and enjoy free food with education learning activities. Security evening guy is funny and nice :)
Overall 4.5
Golden West is a really great college. I love how green and open the campus is. Their theatre and music programs are amazing, and the plays are definitely underrated. Parking is never a problem, and the campus is very easy to navigate. The students and faculty range from all walks of life. Love this college so much!!
Bad reviews
Overall 1.4
Professors are a miss than value. Lots of bad buildings and construction. Food tasted a bit awful and barely anything healthy.
Overall 1.5
Lots of rude staff I encountered even the financial aid. Public safety doesn't do much when there's a problem out of class. Not much to offer here other than sport teams.
Overall 1.6
There are a bunch of rude people who do not want to help you. Public safety don't care to help and pick sides. Rule should be there if the college is supposed to function right.
Overall 1.7
The food on campus is very bad. There is a lack of student involvement. No community.
Overall 1.7
Lots of construction in huge time. Professors are just average there. Most of the staff don't care at all even at financial aid. Public safety don't care what's going on.
Overall 1.7
Lots of construction and poor staff. Background checks needs to improve and only know for nursing along with water sports.
Overall 1.9
On the first day of class my Math 30 teacher said over half the class will fail. The teacher did not care. Internet access was poor. Eat across the street, the food at GWC is not good.
Overall 1.9
They have the worst Math and Science department. My Math Lab is a student nightmare, and Bio courses are ridiculously hard. They expect a lot of pure information to be mastered in a very very short period of time with out reviews.

goooood

Good location, right by bella terra, off the freeway. Horrid sense of community, because it's just a pit stop until people go to their 4-year school. Library is pretty new, and has a great view. WiFi is spotty at best. Clubs, you have really only a handful. Nice amount of trees which is calming when studying.
