This is an amazing school. I’m so happy I came and followed through with my career goals. I met some amazing staff, professors, and students along the way. If you choose GSU you won’t regret it!
Overall 4.5
I enjoyed my masters program at GSU immensely. The professors, courses and location worked great.

i'm having a wonderful time in this school
Overall 4.4
Transferring to GSU was the BEST decision I made in 2023!! I absolutely LOVE the atmosphere, my curriculum, and best of all... Both of my professors!! the faculty listens to the students and provides relevant feedback and interest. The class size is conducive to the success of the students' learning environment and overall level of satisfaction.

Great university with a truly unbeatable quality education.
Overall 4.4
This is the best University that I have been a apart of.
Overall 4.2
It's a great school! Very diverse!
Overall 4.2
I completed my undergrad at GSU in communication disorders and am now in the master's program for speech pathology. In general, I've never really had any significant issues, short of calling financial aid a couple times and having to go into the registrar's office for my diploma. If you're looking into communication disorders, I say go for it!
Overall 4.2
It's a great school. If you put in the time, effort, and hard work that your talent and experience calls for, you will do great. It's on a smaller scale compared to other public universities in IL, but without the bureaucracy and huge lecture halls. It's affordable, up to date, the teachers really care and most work in their respective fields, and

Don't go here. Time consuming. Save the headache from arguing and go elsewhere.

Nightmare!Professors do not keep their word and will screw you at the last minute. Advisors NEVER respond back to emails or voice mails within a timely manner. 2.5 weeks is unacceptable, nobody is that busy! Classes scheduled at weird times and spaced far apart. INCONVENIENT!! You get what you pay for!!! I'm transferring to UIC!!

don't go here. place is rundown and dark, its almost like no money is put into it to make it pleasing to the eye. the food is overpriced and it sucks. The professors are sub-par, I never felt inspired or motivated here. This place made me realize how much better my original school is, which I'm going back to.

Watch your back! The Admin will screw you over and will not help you. PLEASE find someplace else to go! It your future, don't make a mistake and go here!
Overall 1.1
Someone stole my work, and they gave me a 0. If you have a sick note some teachers will not let you even retake a quiz! You pay $153 a semester for the computer lab and the computers don't even go to the printer and every worker there is rude except for Nancy at the front desk. I've gone to 3 other schools to compare it to people. GO ANYWHERE ELSE!
Overall 1.1
Cheapest tuition in state. You get what you pay for though. My program specifically is a mess.
Overall 1.2
Registration is difficult, counsulors are hard to contact. Argh!
Overall 1.3
Complete and utter, joke. The tuition is somewhat cheap but the fees are some of the highest in the nation. The more classes you take, the higher the fees and you won't be getting anything additional or extra with that increase in costs. The building is old, dated, and needs works. The staff here are unprofessional and don't care. Go elsewhere.
Overall 1.4
I transferred to GSU, and have found it to be cold and unfriendly from the faculty & staff down to the students. The academic advisor I was assigned lacked knowledge and professionalism. Also, I feel like the instructors aren't for the students. They don't explain their expectations, test on random material, and grade unfairly. I regret my choice.
Overall 1.4
This university is horrible. Went here because it was close to home. Hardly any professors have their PhD's, administration is a mess. Transfered out luckily, would rather have loans than attend this place. You get what you pay for.
