Really loved the campus and classes

GPRC is a great stepping stone for a school. It gives u that college experience without it being overly expensive. The only downfall is I wish more programs were available without having to transfer. Overall! I like GPRC a lot
Overall 4.1
Since the rebranding from GPRC to Northwestern Polytechnic, the institution has really upped it's game. We now offer more diplomas & degrees which means I don't have to leave the city to finish my degree!
Overall 4
NWPT, formerly GPRC has a great atmosphere and surprisingly inclusive. The professors are passionate and most of them are easy to get along with, with goals of ensuring you succeed. I only had issues with one, who prides himself on being difficult. I wish NWPT was allowed to have more degree programs, because if I had the choice I would stay here.

This college really has uped its game since becoming a polytechnic instiution
Overall 4
GPRC offers a variety of programs and opportunities for students. It's a great stepping stone school for students who want to later transfer to major universities.
Overall 4
GPRC is an amazing campus. The small campus allows you to get to know your profs and classmates. I transferred to the Uof A but wish I would have stayed here. Residence is also great! Howlers is a great on campus lounge that hosts great parties throughout. Profs are great. Internet is fast! Would recommend over the uofa any day. (elem. Edu Student)

Overall 1.2
The lecturers do not have that personal interest to help you when you voice your issues especially if related to the course! They will brag on how all others are doing great with it rather than assisting you through the issue. Also fast to encourage you to drop the cause, watch you fail and then act all attentive for you to enroll. Sad !!
Overall 1.7
Avoid going here for pipe fitting or welding. The school has the lowest pass rate in the province. Although the work load is intense it does not prepare you for the AIT. If you attend this school prepare to teach yourself alone. I highly recommend another college for these two trades.

Should be a University

Gprc is a horrible grade school for welding. I have attended this school for all 3 years of my journeyman ticket and would advise anyone with the option to attend another school to do so. They do not prepare you for the AIT with bookwork and the practical marking is not consistent with other schools. It's seems they want you to fail not succeed
