Located in a small Western town, beautiful mountainous scenery, but close enough of a drive to Reno or Salt Lake if you need a bigger city feel. The college is clean, well kept, the faculty and administrators are top-notch, very impressed indeed.

The main campus is in Elko, Nevada. It has the assets you'd expect from a small rural college. It has a nice computer lab/library. I am taking only online courses, but I like to attend the campus movie and social events. Many of the professors live in Reno or SLC. The professors are well qualified and care about the success of students.

This is an amazing school. I am so grateful I had the opportunity to attend. The teachers are friendly and you are on a name to name basis, not a number. The librarians are amazing, and help you on reports and projects. It is sad that so many people choose internet over live, because you are missing out on some amazing instruction!

GBC is a good college. I'm doing online classes so for the most part I'm not on the campus, but when I do get the chance to visit I like it a lot. The teachers are very nice and the courses are great. A good college to go to.

I wish the online classes would be longer so that there could be more possible points to earn and pass the class.

The blind is leading the blind. Most good teachers are found on Youtube. Good Luck!
Overall 1.4
The Health and Science department instructors are not very student friendly. Students are afraid to ask for help. If a student struggles or may not pass the NCLEX, they are asked to leave.
Overall 1.6
Be smart and educate yourself about enrollment and how to access your account as the faculty and advisors are poorly trained and understaffed.
Overall 1.7
I like the campus but overall there isn't a great feeling of community

I am speaking about the Battle Mountain Campus. First of all it is a little building on the drug side of town. It is in the section of town that is crawling with drug users. The building itself is tiny and falling apart. We are forced to park a football field from the building in a dirt parking lot where there are no lights. Don't go to this campus

If you wanted a super easy transition from high school to college this is it. The teachers accept lower standard papers and practically had feed their students. If you want to learn and become a better well rounded student with high education I would suggest going some where else with high standards.
