Amazing college I am going back August 20, 2024
Overall 5
The community at Grossmont College is very welcoming! The Professors, and Staff members are equally as welcoming and ready to help at a moments notice.

I had the privilege of being a student in Mr. Flynn's English class at Grossmont College, and I must say his teaching abilities were truly remarkable. It was evident that he genuinely cared about our success and went above and beyond to ensure we had the necessary tools to enhance our writing skills. I wholeheartedly recommend him to any student.

So many things to do at the school, in the quad, library, cafeteria. A happy place to be. The teachers were awesome.

Great quality school!

Everything is perfect but the teachers are so hard for grading that's the only thing I want to change my college
Overall 5
I think Grossmont College is a great college. It is diverse, safe, and friendly. If you need help, just ask. If you don't get what you need, ask someone else. There are plenty of clubs and programs to help the students succeed. Getting involved makes the whole college experience so much fuller.

simply the campus helps you to relax and forget from all the city life while looking at the environment and the beautiful mountains surrounding the school. Everyone seems so relaxed that take a second to smile to whom they do eye contact with.

Poor quality college and Unprofessional faculty
Overall 1
The administration is clueless. It's the most ironic situation I have ever encountered where the most incompetent and ignorant lead an institution of higher learning. Sad.
Overall 1
The counselors don't really help. They always say "I don't know" or they dont give accurate information. Honestly last time the counselor went 3 times to check for something asking higher people.

Admission and Records office has students in the front with not a lot of knowledge and this creating a lot of confusion and mistakes. Same with the c
Overall 1.1
I have been at Grossmont for two years and have never seen such a poorly put together school. From constant reconstruction that blocks common areas, to some teachers being hard to work with. The opportunities are poor for most of the majors I’ve seen and everyone I know just wants to transfer out.
Overall 1.2
The faculty is so rude, disrespectful, and truly just doesn't care about the students. The professors are barely decent. Grossmont College leaves you miserable, frustrated and stressed due to a lack of help from faculty. They direct you from person to person and when you get through everyone the last person basically says they can't help you.

I HATED THIS SCHOOL you can see the germs crawling up the walls and I got sick every 2 weeks because they don't clean
Overall 1.2
Parking and internet are horrible. Stay away if possible
Overall 1.2
This campus has a nonexistent social atmosphere. The parking is a huge issue, you need to show up 45 minutes early to make your class time. The internet is a extremely slow. It is almost impossible to get any help in most of your classes. The clubs are invisible as they do not do much.
Overall 1.6
Many departments are limited on resources as this schools builds in favor of others. Internet is impossible to connect to 90% of the campus. The on campus library has VERY limited hours. Financial aid department is extremely slow, you have to book a appointment a month in advanced. Dean obsessives over appearance instead of student satisfaction.
