Wonderful College. GTCC in Jamestown, has a beautiful campus, nice/intelligent teachers, and a great atmosphere. Best college in the Triad area.
Overall 5
I absolutely love this college. Everyone is so helpful and nice. When there is a problem learning, the teachers do not mind suggesting different options, even going to sit another class room to try and grasp the concept.

The aviation campus is top notch! Professors have been extremely helpful and professional. The dual enrollment process has been very smooth thanks to the great team at ccp.

Do NOT go here if you are transferring from out of state. They will take your money then tell you AFTER that they dont accept your credits. Save your time and money. Also, the website does state that they accept many credits however when speaking to an advisor they give you a blanket answer and will not budge saying its a state law.

There's no student lounge. The Library and most of the academic halls need renovating. Internet is slow. Professors are either terrible or great. You'll get your credits if you do the work. Period.

Book pullers don't follow the section that if you want new books if used not available . as you are to check a box stating could substitute new if used not available, but if you leave it unchecked they aren't to put new in box and they ignore the unchecked box and put new in box no matter if check box is checked or not. 10% graduation rate(fafsa)
Overall 1.5
This school is terrible at communication. There is no organization, the passing rates for the classes are as low as 4%. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Overall 1.7
The teachers don't seem to care. They aren't teaching people things and the grades reflect that.
Overall 1.8
Food on campus? One word: Nasty. Library apparently has multiple floors but I've only been on one. Think of a barren piece of land & a few dustballs gtcc library. internet is slow but still the best thing on campus. social life? i've made a few rocks as friends. reputation? "u go where?!?!"
Overall 1.8
GTCC is not anything like their commercials says it is. First of all, you get no help from anyone. They act and make you feel like you are wasting their time. Also, you will find yourself taking classes and never graduate. The biology department is the worst. The professors are arrogant, hate their jobs, and it shows. Go elsewhere for biology....

This school is essentially a stepping stone from high school to a university. Don't expect amazing teachers, a good library, friendly staff, and the ability to make tons of friends. You get what you pay for at GTCC. Cheap GED classes to transfer to a university. Smart decision to pay less for the same classes, so hold your head high.
