I am a proud Harper Alumni! I commuted to get my Associates Degree and it was well worth it! I worked in-district and that was a great perk.

I love Harper! I am honored to be a student at Harper College. The professors are amazing and the environment is super friendly!

I have had the most amazing time at Harper. Every teacher and advisor that I have encountered has genuinely cared about my success and well being. I love the amenities and beauty of the campus. I love the community, support, and activities that Harper provides.

It was a nice experience (:

I will miss Harper College and all the fun classes, friends I have met and most of all, the impact many Proffesors had on my community college life. I will always remember the memories my friends and I had since my freshman year.
Overall 4.9
I highly recommend it as a beautiful, clean campus.
Overall 4.8
If you’re coming to Harper for academics, you will be more than happy. So far, I have received more educational support than ever before. Not to judge a book by its cover, I’ve found rate my professor as an effective tool in finding professors that practice the most fitting learning style for me personally.

I'm in the fast track program and the staff is very helpful.

Harper is an amazing school.
Bad reviews
Overall 1.1
This is a good place for academics and little more. Other reviews are true - the college has a bit of a corporate feel and is cold to students. My teachers are engaging and warm tho and always take extra time to get to know me - yay! I am here part-time and it works with my work schedule and my kids and is affordable - that is a plus, too.
Overall 1.2
I was disappointed with Harper. I left before the COVID pandemic hit so I did have an oncampus experience not an online one. My teachers were good but I was new to college and I felt alone. I could not find my Advisor ever. Counseling in Bldg. I was not very good. The food is awful and so is the parking and the bookstThere are so many expenses too.
Overall 1.3
You get to pay money to only have an option for online classes, which are taught using wikiversity and lectures created in 2020. I took multiple classes where I never heard the sound of the professors voice.
It is completely inexcusable to not offer basic classes in person. So many professors are beyond worthless. It's pathetic.
Overall 1.3
It’s not my first choice but here I am. I came here a long time ago then had kids so I never finished. I really loved it back then but I don’t like it now. It’s very impersonal and cold. Classes are good that’s about it.
Overall 1.4
Its impersonal here. My teachers know me and thats good but no one else does or cares. Not a welcoming place like I thought it would be.
Overall 1.4
This is a mixed bag. Good profs some cool some not and ones that make you cringe, esp. them adjuncts. Food is gross science project. No parking too. True no social life but you gots to make your own, ri? Not gonna stay here too long.
Overall 1.5
I did not come to Harper to be happy or spend a lot of time on campus. I work FT and have kids. The teachers are very good. It is affordable. Free parking too. The campus is beautiful. I did not feel especially safe on campus early am classes or late evening classes. There is no real counseling. But the library is great.
Overall 1.5
It was not the worst place to go - my classes were good with few exceptions. My professors were also good. But the campus feels corporate and cold, and there are no real places for students to meet each other outside of the classroom. I regret going there because of this. I am posting because my neighbor just signed up to go and it reminded me of t
Overall 1.6
I like it mostly. It is a good place you have to choose your classes and be smart. Don’t take the part time teachers, the support stuff here is not good (counselors advisors). The gym is good. Library. There is free parking and if you come in the day it feels pretty safe I don’t like it at night. Food is awful the other reviews are right.
Overall 1.6
I like it for academics and the new fitness center is cool. But there is no campus life. What is too bad is no one notices u but the teachers. Food is very pricey and awful too but you can bring your own. And be careful it is not the safest if you are by yourself better go to the car with anothyr person if u can.
