I’m a non-traditional student. HCC provides plenty of options for either online, or in-person classes. Every professor I’ve had has been flexible, understanding, and given opportunities for experiential learning.

Heartland Community College is by far one of the best community colleges in Illinois. With a large selection of activities for all kinds of students to an extensive list of services provided to student, you will have everything you will need to be successful.

I feel like I have so many opportunities here at Heartland Community College. While I'm saving money, by not going to a four year, I feel like my education is equal, if not better.

Heartland is one of the nicest community colleges I have ever seen or been too. The majority of the professors love what they do and attempt to make the classes as interesting as they can. I wish it was a four year.

Go not come to heartland college (correctional facility) it is a joke. I think they hiall of the teachers when they walk out of prision. I took 6 classes at heartland and all of the professors sucked. Once the classes begin you can no longer change sections so your stuck with what you sign up for and if you drop a class you cannt get into another.

The classes offered on campus are either really easy or really difficult. There is definately a grading curve because the people going here are either going because its cheap, want a nursing degree, they didn't do well in high school or are coming back after choosing work instead of school. I dislike this school in general.
