HWS is fabulous. I love every moment I am here. Professors care about teaching and students' learning. My classmates are smart, dedicated, fun! Advising is hands-on, with many clubs, work opportunities, internships, and study abroad are immense to help students live lives of consequence.

Love it! You get out what you put in. The most beautiful campus, with teachers who really care about your well being, and so many incredible opportunities if you just look for them.

I don't even where to start. The collective academic caliber of the students here is next to abyssmal. But even more than the students, this school is run by buffoons who like to give the illusion that they are progressive and genuinely care about their students. If you get into a better school and can afford it GO there! The Sodexo gruel sucks.

Admin is a nightmare and there are no available classes.
Overall 1.6
Hate it.
Overall 1.7
A cultural wasteland. Don't expect to find anyone interesting here.
Overall 1.7
Don't be fooled by the seemingly accepting and friendly redoric of the administration. When it comes down to it, the school doesn't care about being "open" or even really about the students. All that matters to them is sounding progressive without having to put the work in.
Overall 1.8
This is a school where most students feel content, but not happy. They "like the school, I guess" but they don't love it. There is sadly not much enthusiasm when students say "I go to Hobart and William Smith!" unless they are putting on a show for prosepectice students or working during orientation. Not a school that understands genuine pride

Transferred out after a miserable first year. The campus is nice but gets old within a week or two. The scenery towards the water is stunning but the rest of the campus is quite dull.
Overall 2
If you're thinking about going to this school, don't. You will not be able to take any of the classes you need and registration is a nightmare. A small teacher to student ratio means that there are next to no class options, especially in STEM. The social scene is run by white boys in frats. Not the place for you if you actually study or want a job.
