Hope was the perfect fit for me. It is widely known that Hope could do a little better with diversity and price but that is something that they are definitely working on. Overall, the campus is beautiful, the community is incredible and welcoming, and the faculty truly cares about each and every student. I love Hope College and am glad I came here.
Overall 4.9
I couldn't picture myself at any other university. Everyone is so welcoming and the professors truly care about not only your academic success, but also your personal life.
Overall 4.8
Hope College is one of the prettiest campuses I've ever seen. Whenever you are walking people say hi! It's hard to find disrespectful people on campus. Such a great vibe and atmosphere!

I absolutely love this place. It is just as good as admissions says. Phenomenal professors who actually care about answering questions and mentoring you. Beautiful and welcoming Christian environment (for Catholics too! :) TONS to do on campus - being overcommitted to too many fun extracurriculars is a common "problem" here. Solid academics too.
Overall 4.7
Fun school-glad I went
Overall 4.7
Not to be cliche, but Hope truly has the best community that I've ever experienced. The students and profs are crazy friendly! It's small enough that you recognize people wherever you go, but big enough that you are always meeting new people. It's perfectly located a block off of downtown and a few miles from Lake MI.
Overall 4.7
Extremely friendly
Overall 4.6
I have loved my time here but I wish I would have met more people and put myself out more on campus.

Hope College is so awesome. I love Hope College.

It is not as it seems. If you tour Hope, they'll only show you the good sides (obviously), but what you should know is that the people here are rude. Not the staff (I found most of them nice actually) but the students here are awful. Everything is extremely expensive and way overpriced. The workload is unbearable most days. Not fun.
Overall 1.1
college is very small and lacks diversity.
Overall 1.6
This school is in a prime location but leads it self to believe that you don't need to be religious to attend, and you don't but if you're not then you have nothing in common with anyone. I transferred because this school was to religious for me.
Overall 1.8
Honestly, I met some great people and then I met some people who turned my life into a living nightmare. The atmosphere is extremely religious and the students adhere strongly to their faith. Greek life gives the only possibility for a "normal, college social experience". There are amazing, tier 1 university professors and a few terrible ones.
