Overall 5
I have no issues at HCC. They provide me with the necessary materials to improve with my career.
Overall 5
HCC is such a great choice to begin college. Compare to any university, HCC has smaller class size, easily accessible counseling and financial aid services, and an overall great environment to learn and grow. Their classes are extremely affordable and they also offer many programs for students in need, such as free monthly groceries distribution.
Bad reviews

Not a good college for study in Houston, Texas. Find other colleges to study like Lone Star College or San Jacinto College.
Overall 1
This is my second degree and the third college Ive taken classes at (HBU and WCJC sugar land being the first 2). I wish I wouldve never even considered HCC as an option to take my prerequisites at. Most of the teachers dont care, no matter how hard the entire class begs. After enrollment youre on your own, and advisors dont even care to help.

Stupid thing is enrollment here
Overall 1
Took some online classes here because they were cheap. Got exactly what I paid for. Terrible teachers and even dept heads that do not care about you. Entire class was failing begging teacher for help, didn't care and the dept head told us we just have "mob mentality" (bio dept). Will never take a class here again. Avoid at all cost if possible.

Terrible education. Awful teachers who absolutely don't care
Overall 1.1
There so many horrible teachers at this school. The head of department, deans and faculty members are just as bad. All of the clubs I've joined are dead. You are supposed to be assigned an academic advisor but that never happens. I have a 4.0 GPA and complete all of my work months in advance but this school somehow still makes me stressed out.
Overall 1.3
Horrible school with horrible professors. They don't care about students. Don't bother filing a complaint thinking you're going to complain about one of those low level instructors, I was told "you can write whoever you want", basically so what. I withdrew immediately and took my money back like "well, I don't care" how you're paid for class.
Overall 1.4
The biggest mistake of my life was attending HCC straight after high school, instead of going to an actual university. The worst campus would be the one on West Loop! Majority of the staff is rude and won't try to help you. If you can avoid attending this school, then you should.
Overall 1.4
Trying to get help with my student needs was so hard. Had to call in and attend so many zoom meetings with advisors. Every advisor tells you something different. It was so stressful. They just want your Pell money and do not care about you as a student. The "professors" are a joke. They are rude, unhelpful and condescending. Will not return to HCC.
Overall 1.5
The advisor there told me there was a low chance of me getting into nursing school. I didn’t ask for her opinion. they sat on my transcripts without evaluation for nine months. I am being charged me out of district fees because I live in Spring Branch. I had to pay $9000 for my transcripts from another college.
