Best time ever

IIT was a MAGICAL experience for me. The commons was soooo delicious, and the campus was poppin on weekends. Ignore those cynical reviews you are reading here, I had the time of my life at IIT and I think it's the very best school in the world. :)))
Overall 4.7
I'll never forget my experience at IIT; from the proximity to downtown Chicago to the coursework to hearing the L constantly roar above the MTCC, I would do it again if I could. The courses were tough (architecture major here), but even the professors that were mean genuinely cared and had passion for education. I give this school an A+++

The Business school is fantastic! Love Illinois Tech.
Overall 4.3
Has alot of prestige but they spend their money on good professors not on classrooms and common areas
Overall 4.3
I have attended 4 actual Universities and this was my favorite. Graduate from here and you will make $. Walk down any of the halls in the dorm during the day and meet people from all around the world. 50% international student population. I have friends to this day in Korea, Czechia, Japan, China, Sri Lanka, Korea, Spain, Brazil, Canada, Malaysia..

A great campus in a great city

Love it

If you want to meet genuine people, party and at the same time be a 4.0 student you'll fit right in. You study hard on capus with like minded people and your a train ride away from the coolest craziest and never-sleeping city, Chicago. Clubs are crazy, theres always something going on and on campus you can find the right people to have fun;)
Overall 4
Great Professors. Not a huge University but a GIANT in Technology. Every student seem busy with course load, makes it hard to even make friends cuz there's no much time for fun if you care about grades. The location is top tier CHICAGO and not far from Downtown. The only odd thing is there're very limited 'On-Campus' job opportunities for students
Bad reviews

After 2 weeks into the semester, the school is pretty much dead. Nobody has the time to talk to each other, they only care about their grades cause it's a nerdy school. Some professors are good but some are just pathetic.

it doesn't worth the price you pay to go there. For Aerospace and Mechanical students, their career fair is useless. 2/10 good professors that know how to explain their materials clearly. you can get a better education and connections to find a job opportunity in UIC and any other public university.
Overall 1.3
This school is not good. Nobody has time to make friends because it is very hectic, and hence, there is no social life. People are rude and not civil here. Professors, for the most part, are bad and unsympathetic. You feel like you're in a sad movie when you are in this university. Just don't for the sake of your mental health and sanity.

Disappointment
Overall 1.3
This college is pretty bad. The fact that we now call ourselves "Illinois Tech" because ITT Tech is more reputable says it all. The first thing you'll notice is that the dorms are so bad the college covers them up with trees to hide them from the public. To add to that, the food is literally public school food. Most public colleges are better.
Overall 1.4
If you're an architecture major, socially and academically you should be fine ig but other engineering and CS majors there is literally 0 social life and professors are trash for the most part.
Overall 1.4
This place is a dump -- absolutely terrible place to study and call home. Looking at transferring out ASAP.
Overall 1.4
very bad
Overall 1.5
This school is so sad and depressing. The social life is almost nonexistent. Everyone is miserable and rude. It's ridiculously expensive. Career center is run by students that are only there for a paycheck and a line on their resumes. Poorly managed administration. Only come here if your tuition is covered and you have no choice.
Overall 1.5
Grad student here. Very disappointed. Expensive tuition, theoratic courses and terrible education quality. Some instructors are not Prof or not industry experienced or spoke broken English. Materials taught are out of dated. Small and dirty lib, Fitness room is just in one room and not open regularly in summer. Run away if you get a better choice.
