IVCC is a great community college. The professors are really knowledgable and you're learning the same info as other students at a much more affordable/reasonable price. If you participate, you'll do well. Go to office hours!
Overall 4.1
They will gladly help you in the guidance office. But you must seek the help to receive it. Clubs and honor societies are everywhere to join and are actively seeking new members. The food is pretty good. The school and campus itself is modernized. THE PARKING LOTS ARE SO FAR AWAY SO BE READY TO HIKE! Due to this, invest in a quality book bag.
Overall 4.1
I love this school. Many memories and friends were made here. IVCC also saved me lots of money on tuition and set a great foundation to transfer and continue my major classes at NIU. Love the amount of individualized help available in the form of office hours, peer tutoring and the writing center.
Overall 4
A great place to be if you aren't 100% ready to attend a 4 year university OR you are undecided on your major. Classes are still challenging and worth your time, plus at a super low cost compared to other Schools. I loved being close to home giving me that comfort during the transition from High school to college.

IVCC: No place so close can care so little about you as a person.
Overall 2
Horrible. Everything is old and cheap including the professors
