This is a pretty awesome school. I really don't get why so many people complain about not getting classes. If you join a sport or a program then you get prioity registration. So either join a sport or program or quit complaing.

Many teachers are nice and helpful. Common grounds are clean. Campus stays nice. Lots of construction so things move a lot.

If your going into stem majors avoid this college at all cost. Intro classes may seem okay because they are easy but once you get into upper division classes you notice how bad some of the teachers are there are very few good teachers.

ivc was the first college to provid services to students with disabiltes in c.a. when a student requests reasonable acomodations, the student gets dinied, specially descriminated. ivc needs to follow its mission statement because students do not achieve their educational and career goals the way they are beng treated. instutors do not each excellen

IVC is not a safe place for neurodivergent individuals. Please keep yourselves safe when enrolling

IVC has the worst gov. system. The school location is in the middle of no where. Everyone at IVC is more like to stay in that valley. It need more teacher for certain courses like computer science and the cafeteria is a rip of. The school sucks. Not recomended unless it you have no other choice. The worst part the student don't even realize it.

boring, to be honest.
Overall 1.5
The many of the counselors are not well capacitated, and some make students feel like they are just there to get paid and the student is taking up their time!

If your plan is to transfer DON'T go here especially if you plan on majoring in science or math. Most of the math teachers are awful and there is only one physics teacher who doesn't even have a major in physics. If you actually want to learn go somewhere else, I beg you! I severely regret attending here and I feel ill prepared for upper lvlclasses

IVC is a joke. The staff members are quite rude and act like they dont care about helping you with anything. Forget trying to get any good classes or classes you actually need because they are all taken by the time everyone can add them. They cater to people from Mexicali and give them priority registration. 90% of the staff doesnt know English.
