I absolutely love ISU! This school has given me so many amazing opportunities and has helped me further my education tremendously!

You get what you make from your experience here
Overall 4.6
Indiana State provides a great education on the basis of value. If you want to enjoy your time definitely get involved in the many different clubs or intramurals. Athletics is a bright spot of the university and the baseball and track and field programs are well known for continued success. Campus is beautiful, lots of trees.
Overall 4.6
The professors all care for their students - at least in the Human Resource Department. So many organizations to be a part of! All the dorms are newly renovated, also a few common space areas and even downtown! ISU is the staple to Terre Haute. Even if you don't attend, I recommend a visit. Campus is beautiful.
Overall 4.5
I absolutely love my school. The campus is beautiful and the professors are there to help you learn. I have met my best friends here and I have never been so happy. We keep our campus clean and friendly people are everywhere. There are some resident halls that could use some remodeling but otherwise, it is an amazing school.
Overall 4.5
I am so glad I chose ISU, it is the best decision I've made in my life.
Overall 4.4
ISU will definitely be what you make of it. It's not perfect, but by getting involved and not just keeping to myself, I was able to really enjoy my time here.
Overall 4.4
Indiana State gets too bad of a reputation, as if you asked a majority of current students, they would give the school positive reviews. It feels like a family almost as the school is close together and the renovated buildings are gorgeous. Campus is well maintained and a perfect size. Professors want to see you succeed. Great school to go to.
Bad reviews

Unprofessional and will screw up the easiest tasks
Overall 1.4
it is okay.
Overall 1.5
Absolutely terrible school, with even worse professors.

DO NOT COME HERE Terre Haute is an awful town and the academics here are horrible.
Overall 1.7
Campus is not in a bad part of town, that is to say that every part is bad. It's an old manufacturing town that has largely died off. Many abandoned buildings and trsh in yards. Very Midwesterny. Crime is a real problem both in town and on campus. Virtually devoid of any cultural experiences or opportunities. Apply at your own risk..
Overall 1.8
The campus has nothing to do and the town is even worse, you'll be bored every second you're not in class. Most clubs and orgs aren't active. The dining hall cross-contaminates everything so if you've got allergies good luck. School claims to be inclusive for LGBT students but it's really not. Would absolutely lay down my life for my professors tho
