Enjoyed my time here.

The Greek Life here is absolutely amazing. No hazing and very accepting.
Overall 4.4
This is a good school just some foreign language requirements that are stupid and do not align with Bloomington.

I really like IU South Bend. It's a great school for me because it's close to home and extremely affordable. I've had great experiences with all my professors and student life is continuing to grow. I'm proud to say that I go to this school.

I love it!!
Overall 4.3
If you go to class and go home... it'll be boring. But if you join a club and do things on campus you will love it here! Plus most of the professors are amazing.
Overall 4.3
IUSB has all the opportunities of IU but at a much more affordable price. I did my undergrad there and I'm back for my master's now. I liked all my undergrad profs (well minus one or two) and felt that teachers were easy to contact/get help outside of class. All my professors knew my name. Classes were >30 which is so nice. I love IUSB!
Overall 4.3
Everyone thinks this is a non-traditional campus for adults getting their degrees - false. IT is slowly but surly becoming more traditional, thanks to the on-campus housing and social events. I'm getting a better education than students at other schools pursuing the same degrees. My professors will help me succeed after I graduate.
Overall 4.3
This school is amazing and not given enough credit. Everyone should live on campus!
Overall 4.2
When I planned on attending IUSB my senior year, most peers and teachers thought it was a shame and a waste for me to not go away for college since I was so smart. WRONG! This is a fantastic school. I live on campus and have more fun than my friends that left home. Way cheap, too! Great profs and small class sizes.

The worst school in the area 100 percent .The cons of this school are just too many 1. Its hard to pay for tuition the app they want you to pay through often crashes and you can’t even pay in person too . 2. Majority of the professors don’t teach they just want you to buy an over price book and just basically make the book teach. Avoid !
Overall 1.6
it looks cheap on the outside, but they nickel and dime you to death with "fees" that you shouldn't have to pay. the housing seems to allow a lot of questionable activity occur regardless of it being brought to their attention. there is a very oppressive atmosphere looming. profs aren't bad, food is ok, but admin needs MAJOR changes :(
Overall 1.8
The professors at this institution don't understand that college is supposed to be a cooperation between the student and the teacher. Try to put professors from accredited colleges into a community college, then the two styles of learning clash. They wonder why their dropout rate is so high.
Overall 1.9
Food is mediocre--- teachers are better than expected ---- social life is bad as most people commute and don't bother to look up from phone. I have mat a person on a social level in 3 years of being here. Clubs exist but they essentially add work to your workload when I think they should do the opposite as give a break from school with peers. EHHHH
Overall 1.9
It's alright for just getting through college, but feels very much like high school. Many people judge and there is nothing to do except homework by yourself on campus.
Overall 1.9
IUSB has virtually no social atmosphere (or atmosphere in general), students are always either depressed or indifferent, and there are very little recreational activities to do. I would say, if you have the money to attend somewhere better, go there instead of IUSB.
Overall 1.9
Not a bad place if you are just coming here to earn your degree, but that is all that there is here. No campus activity and the way things are run are terrible. Would not suggest living on campus because there is nothing to do.
Overall 2
Good luck finding food on campus, food availability is absolute garbage

Location is nice for those just starting out, but stay away from Greek Life! They are nothing but scam artists. I joined a fraternity and they told me what the price was for dues, then they completely changed it when I got in. In the end I got kicked out of it and still owned them money. Again, STAY AWAY FROM GREEK LIFE!
