The staff and professors are really there to help you achieve your goals.
Overall 4.4
Although there aren't any social scenes near by, academically, this campus is great and so is the entire facility and professors.
Overall 4.2
Love it here, diversity is growing.

This is the best colleges ever! you might run into one or two people who are indifferent. but that is about all!

I got lost last year while driving around and stumbled upon the Iowa Western campus. I was so impressed that I went back and started talking with a recruiter. The registration process is painless.Every staff member from financial aid to the instructors, maintenance staff, everyone is so outstandingly helpful. This is a perfec choice for ANYBODY.

Worst school ever. its more like a halfway house than a college.
Overall 0.9
This school is really sketchy and someone even got shot while selling drugs here last year. I don't really feel safe here and its almost impossible to make friends here. I would recommend staying as far away from here as possible. Some of the teachers are likeable but that's the only good thing I can say about iwcc.
Overall 1.1
This school is filled with childish people who don't care one bit about their education. Its like a high school with more drugs and less passionate students. The dorms are littered with trash and I feel like no one here can hold an intelligent conversation. This school is horrible.
Overall 1.3
Security is HORRIBLE. No club opportunities. Athletes get away with everything here. HORRIBLE parking if you live off campus.
Overall 1.3
I went to iowa western from my graduation year (2013 ) to 2016. in my time there i lived on campus which was honestly the most unsafe place i have ever lived, and ive lived in the inner city before. campus security doesn't do their job, food is bad, and sexual assaults are very high. the administration doesn't care about problems. 0/10
Overall 1.3
I am a non traditional student, so Ive already spent my younger years partying. I am here for the nursing program and I feel it has a strong nursing program with a strong set of nursing instructors who push you to learn everything. I do feel that this campus is old looking, and the entire college looks old and worn out. Needs updates big time.
Overall 1.3
They make this place look great on your visit. Don't be fooled. Go somewhere else.. You won't regret it. Only positive thing here is most of the professors are really enjoyable. Haven't had a bad one yet. They care about you if you show you care and try. Other than that.. I'm telling you.. Don't come here.

why did I even come here
Overall 1.4
I would not recommend coming here. If you already live in Council Bluffs or around the area and plan on living at home, it won't be too bad. There are some really great teachers here that do a great job and care about how you do. But the campus life is boring, it's horribly unsafe, there is nothing to do, super getto, food sucks. Go somewhere else.
Overall 1.4
I went here for two years and I wish I could take those two years of life back. There is no social scene here and nothing to do for fun. They have some really cool teachers, but that's the only thing going for the school. I transfered to Iowa State and I am a thousand times happier at university. Avoid IWCC if you don't want to be miserable.
