Best school ever, very helpful to students.
Overall 4.5
I already have my Bachelors and am working towards a certificate (DBMS). Some of the professors at the Indianapolis campus are very good. They understand the working adult and teach what it is need to exceed at work. More hands on and less theory which means that you know what you are doing at work. Excellent experience so far! Affordable too.

I'm not sure why you would need to attend a much higher cost school for the same classes offered at Ivy Tech. Ivy Tech will gave back what you invest in time and study. The campus availability is great. I'm pleased to be a student.

This is the best college I have ever been to, I like that it is so cheap and you get a great education, better then most other colleges. The only issue I have is with the book store and the inflated pricing (ripping students off), but this happens at all school.

Ivy Tech Community College has truly come a long way over the years. The instructors exceeded my expectations with their overall experiences within their subjects taught. This college deserves so much more honor in their reputation than what is commonly given. Thank you Ivy Tech!

You get what you put into it; the more you put into it, the more Ivy Tech does. I have had many health issues through this process that has slowed my progress but this school has not given up on me yet! They are always there to assist me in my goals no matter how slow and difficult this has been for me. Thinking about getting a job here!

Even for a community college, there methods of teaching and policies don't stack up as I hoped it would. Everything seems to fall on the students. Teachers don't care if students participate and dont try as hard as they could to push students toward succeeding.

NOT happy at all with my decision to attend this college! Education and caring professors is very important when making a decision to attend a college! 2 years spent, looking to join a different college who meets my criteria, after all I am paying for a good education!

I decided to attend Ivy Tech straight out of high school in order to save some money and get my generals out of the way before transferring to a bigger school. BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE! It is cheaper, and trust me you get what you pay for. Save yourself the trouble and go to a school where the staff actually cares about your success!!!

Feels like most of the employees working at this campus could not care any less, their just watching the clock until it's time to go home. Constantly getting the run around with my adviser, the guy hasn't returned a single phone call or email during my 3 semesters at Ivy Tech, I mean you can't make this stuff up. Campus is on 38th street, bad area
Overall 1.6
Don’t go here. Prices are going up drastically, and this school isn’t even worth a penny. The all online is set up in a way to fail you. The teachers don’t have any say on how things are graded and what assignments are for what. Never take all online class, unless you do not mind teaching it all yourself.
Overall 1.6
Ivy Tech is just an absolutely terrible school to say the least. None of the staff are educated on how to do their jobs. Expect to have a very difficult time getting even very simple questions answered. You will ask 10 different people and get 10 different wrong answers for every question. Buy your books online or expect to lose a lot of money

I in no way have enough characters to type how i feel. My backpack was stolen on campus and they did nothing about this, because it was a friday night. They dropped me from my classes for not paying for the semester by the deadline, but never gave me a heads up. Most of the professors are nice, but hard to understand. Stressful for sure. Avoid!

With any community college the students carry more baggage than university students; however, I barely wanted to come to class because of how embarrassed I felt. It was not a warm welcome and rarely wanted to come onto campus. Great for late education, bad for early education.
